Hey everyone
Since the last dev blog, a lot of work has been done, and now I'll try to briefly go over everything.
First of all, I want to apologize for the long wait for the new update. It’s frustrating for me as well that development has dragged on for a whole eight months. I definitely didn’t expect that, especially since I initially said otherwise. If the Steam release goes well, I’ll try to find an artist who can occasionally help with posing in scenes to speed up the process.
Let's start with the character named Bella, the detective from the opening scene of the first part. Her appearance has undergone some changes. I updated her skin texture and slightly adjusted her facial structure. However, the scene itself remains unchanged. Such refinements are particularly valuable in the early stages of development when there is room for experimentation and polishing details.
Now for some great news that I'm especially excited about. I’ve found a talented 3D modeler who will be working on locations, interiors, and other in-game elements. This is a huge step forward, as these tasks used to take up a lot of my time and energy. Now, with his help, development will be faster and more efficient. Additionally, I need to redo some older renders where outdated car models were used, which will take a bit of time.
Speaking of cars, changes have been made to them as well. To avoid copyright issues, we have redesigned their appearance, modifying the body, refining details, and adding a unique signature emblem. I had planned this step even before publishing the game on Steam, but I only got around to it now, as I lacked the necessary Blender skills back then. Now, the cars look more original and fit the game’s style better.
As for Steam, I’m currently filling out the information for the store page. It feels like sitting in an airplane cockpit. There’s a ton of data to enter and double-check before submission.
A huge thank you to everyone for your patience and support! See you soon!
