I have that same problem for (Janice) step 96. The moment Dana drops the book, no dialog options pop up.

since it's only an third tier option, I don't think it will be a thing anytime soon

Easiest way to get rid of the blue demon is to extract the game files and place all of her pictures into something like paint net then paint over them and bye bye demon.
