It's real weird that small-time devs put a content behind a paywall, when the most successful titles never had any of that. Do they really think that works? Hell Summertime Saga, the most successful porn game in existence, waits like a day before releasing full free updates.

I really enjoyed this game when it came out. Now it's just another game of "let's grind this 30000 times because why the fuck not" just to get to the interesting content.. Oh wait no, this will be available in the "next" update.

if i were to guess the dev removed them from the game and added it to the patreon version
edit: there is almost no difference from the patreon version and the normal version on first glance, seems like extra porn on the pc and that's it i might be wrong though

I think nowadays devs must understand that grinding 1 button that adds up 25 or else points to a certain stat isn't relevant anymore. So yeah, it adds longevity to your game (" OMG YOU CAN PLAY 12 HOURS TO THIS GAME SHEESH") but nah, if you want to make a stat gated game, make it relevant. People don't need 7 lvl in charisma to feel some character development shit, just make it well written story-wise, make it important (some event with rewards or opening on new lore) or else. But don't make us grind 1 hour on stats just for a sex game (we're here for the PLOT remember )

Though not my field, I think setting property belonging to someone else behind a paywall would constitute a violation of copyright law. A bar may "indirectly" profit from a football game, by attracting customers they will sell beer and food to, by showing a game. They can not, however, charge a cover to view the game, because that would be profiting directly off the product belonging to the NFL. They can, and do, sue any establishment that does such (if they have enough money to bother taking). This would seem to me to be the same sort of direct profit from product you don't own the rights to.
