Once in a blue moon I find a diamond in the rough but most of these DLsite RPG's that are shat out are utter trash.

DLsite business model greets you warmly, please make a purchase and enjoy lewd content! (Like roughly 80-120 cgi that are variants of perhaps 10 actual, set up in a barebone rpgm map.)
And people complain about walksimulator aspect when one actually delivers a real story and hundreds of genuine images... ironic isn't it.

I've seen people complain about games like Coceter for being walk sims in RPGM. Shit, i'll even give games like Anna's exciting Affection it's due's. I may not like the game personally but it has a lot of content and the devs work is solid if you like that kind of thing.

Those get complaints yet I see people rate these garbage, shit tier DLsite RPG's quite highly and i'll never get it.

Granted some of them have content a lot of games don't touch like rape, monster girls etc but still. The gameplay is shit, the "story" is shit the characters are shit and these tend to be more generic than bog standard incest games.

You hit the nail right on the head with the CG's though.

You get these things boasting hours of content yet they only have a handful of CG's.

I have tried a few of them and at most you get about 5 scenes with different clothing variations and yet people are throwing around 4 and 5 stars with comments like "this is awesome" and all I can think is how low are your standards when this is anything but shit tier.

I've found some really good ones that touch on similar themes like Last Demonhunter, Evening Starter, Lulu Farae etc...

Those manage to be decent RPG's with a good amount of content while giving the player enough options to feel like they have some input in how it plays out.

Or people can keep giving 5 stars to those warrior girl games that talk about how powerful she is only for her to turn into a drooling cock sleeve 5 minutes later when she forgets how her sword works.

I know I get ranty about this but I am a big fan of RPG's and it doesn't take much to keep me happy but when I see great RPG's like Fractured Worlds fall apart due to lack of interest yet the shit stained tripe on DLsite pulls in money and 5 stars it makes me irrationally angry.

well breaking my lurking status but can,t help it i completely agree with this is all i wanted to say it the very reason rpg maker games in general get flak and a bad rep and it is the very reason we see good rare projects die because of it same applies to non adult games to tbh like the shit ton spat out on steam as cash grabs half the time if not more so.

edit: may as well add this applies to other programs as well but for different reasons though i think rpg maker gets the most flak in general.

edit2: eh fuck it may as well add my two cents on one other thing since it is relevant and circles back but tbh i think this issue is not just in games it in most forms of entertainment now and days most games movies etc tend to appeal to people with less interest in actual quality and want more direct action or a quick fap or to just make a quick buck in general without a care for quality and tbh i would say my two cents it is a generation thing that got worse and worse with each gen at least when i compare older stuff adult wise or reg wise i feel like i can site many many more example of past stuff being made with much more care and passion put into projects then we do now and days also greed being the largest role as well just look at the dlsite patreon kickstarter etc more then half are just out to be lazy and get your money which ties into the above on how stuff in the past was made with much more care which relates to this topic in the sense it why we see so many crappy game movies etc that just my two cents/opinions if you agree cool if ya don,t also cool.

You... you do realize that that game comes from dlsite, right? It's not even one of the better dlsite games either, the h-scenes are almost completely separate from the gameplay, only being accessed by purposefully throwing away your money, and the gameplay itself is extremely tedious.

Not going to deny that dlsite allows a lot of shovelware like this to be sold (though most of it goes untranslated), but if Evening Starter is your idea of a good h-game, then you probably should spend less time bitching about dlsite and more time playing games.

The real villain in this whole dlsite/rpgm content quality debate is MacOS for not being able to run any of them so I'm stuck here cycling through Ren'pys and HTML games shedding single tears for every RPGM game I pass that has preferable tags and artstyles

i would have to disagree with you about evening starter for a few reasons one alot of people do like it two which ties into one is the main group of people that liked it are those that liked a the story b dungeon crawlers and c the art and for people that love dungeon crawlers with ok to decent story it has mass appeal of course the exact opposite is also true if you hate or dislike dungeon crawlers alot then you will not like that game at all that just my two cents though.

If it is you in consious that goes back in time then no, you are not pregnant. If however you find a machine or whatever and go back in time with your current state, of course you are pregnant. Since this game has magic you just need to "decide" which of the 2 aspects happens. If you think about it, all the games you have saved are in a way, time machines for the characters. Since you(aka the characters brain) still have your memories of the "future". That is the consious moving. Good question though

In my model, well, the one I am most "happy" with, time is not a base value, but a result.
For me speed (=motion) comes first, and time is just a means to explain 2 different states of the same thing because it or its parts moved.

You see time visually with day and night, but if the planet didn't rotate, didn't move, there would be no day nor night.
You see time because you age, which you do as a result of your cells' internal motion.
Matter decays, everything "ages" - a radioactive element even becomes a different element.

So in my model if you go back, you also automatically become younger.

I'm able to use Wine with few problems on RPGM. Unity is another story though
