I had played the first chapter of this game a long time ago, one of the very first games I tried. and I have to be honest: I didn't like it very much

but then thanks to youporn, always be praised, which kept offering me videos of the last chapters I got curious and decided to try it again

and I have to say that this second chapter is davveor excellent: there is a resounding improvement from an aesthetic point of view and also the plot, with all its levity, has finally become interesting

Why is the convo with John about time travel stuck in an infinite loop, keeps on repeating?

Anybody else have a problem where an existing save was deleted when applying the new update? (I haven't been keeping up with this thread, so apologies if asked and answered.) I went to the (hidden) save location and the folder was empty, now launching the game I'm prompted for New Game or "start from Chapter 1" (which I think is the same thing).

First the game doesn't delete saves because they are stored in your user's hidden AppData folder. Second you can't apply updates because you download a new "full" game after each update.

There were cases that players didn't see their saves in-game because their system weren't set to the Gregorian Date, e.g. for people from Thailand or Arabic countries.
