Catering to stupidity and impatience won't make a good game, and there are plenty of people, me included, that would bitch if the game sacrificed what makes it stand out just to provide a quick wank and immediate "satisfaction". I think it's as simple as the fact that you can't make everybody happy.
I understand the frustration at some ppls response, I would be frustrated at this level of impatience as well. Don't really think anyone is surprised though.

Dude you created a great game here but with all due respect you're not rewriting a shakespeare play ,at the end of the day it should be a fucking porn game and if you keep delaying and dont give people what they want which is a sex scene with mc and his sister people are gonna bitch about it and you're probably gonna lose patreons and future fans,dont get me wrong a good story comes first and i agree with that but you need to find a balance and provide lewd content as well (with the main girls) cause otherwise a lot more people will lose interest and it would be a shame cause this game has great potential but then again its your game and you decide how things will go but be ready for bitching/criticism and/or losing fans if you wanna go down this road with story first and fapping later

Go do something by yourself that is just for others and you don't have long term interest in and lets see how "fun" it is and how long you will last.

XD i personally like it so far, i think the story line is pretty interesting. i imagine we're going to be slowly working towards getting Nika to change her mind about going back. it's a somewhat slow progression of character development, as someone who likes Nika, i like that it's interesting.

Or maybe some people want a sister character who's not some one-dimensional, 24/7 horny, fuck toy for the MC and actually has some real depth to them, and for the sex between the 2 characters to mean something more than, "me horny, you horny, we fuck now."

If the MC and Nika had had sex in the previous game, then it would be the typically shallow sex that exists in pretty much every other adult game and it's a played out trope that's getting super boring. At least this game, given what Nika said, seems like it might build to them having a deeper relationship than just 2 horny idiots going at it for "reasons".

Over all the ''supposed supporter of the game'' that said they would drop their support because we havent done what they hope we do in this release, only 2 patrons drop it since release! So overall, whatever it is said, is sometimes crap trying to shake things up.

We have those that encourage the crowd that is not helping at all, Satoshi, just move on man it is really starting to get ridiculous at this point!

Guys its a first release, we are really happy about it, its an installement release, like a brand new game, we show sexy stuff, sex stuff, we develop storyline for future actions, we cannot just trow in fuckfest because thats what you want to see now, we have to establish the base of it first. Nika WILL come back no worry on it, we have a plan for her, she is a main characters so she wont be forget later!

I’m just glad this game, like so many others, is being made and has regular updates. If a game is mechanically broken I can understand people complaining, but complaining about the story and pacing in a porn game before it is even close to finished is completely alien to me, unless it’s a clear milking scam which this game sooooo is not. It’s sort of like the NTR whining on so many of these forums. Porn is in essence watching some other asshole nailing the person you wish you could be with. Like, it’s porn. Get over it. It doesn’t need to be overly complicated and if there is a story in there, why not tag along for the journey and I’m with Aesouh on this one. If you don’t like where it’s going then go make your own game and show us all how it’s done. I personally don’t like a lot of modern sci fi novels, so I started writing the ones I wanted to read. What I didn’t do was contact the late Michael Crichton’s family and tell them that the Andromeda Strain was a really boring and poorly written mess and wasn’t the story I wanted it be. I just sort of closed the book and politely moved on. Other people loved it and I accept that. Telling an author how to tell their story or telling a team how to run their show is one of the most soulless and mentally eroding inflictions an outsider can ever give a creator.

I read your entire comment, there was no need to quote it all for anyone to understand what post I was replying to.
I don't know how many, and never said anything about the quantity. I think you might be mixing up mine and aesouhs response there. But even if there are "a lot" of people complaining, I'd argue it's not the devs fault.

These are people that have not learned patience and having built up their own expectations in their own minds of what the next update was "supposed" to be are upset that it doesn't fulfill said expectations immediately.
It's not the devs fault that some people constructed their own expectations that doesn't align with the creators perfectly. It's not the devs fault that people are kicking and screaming for not being served on a platter exactly what they want at the first moment. And it's not a creators job to cater to such things. This is not an order at the restaurant, this is a creation, artists work.

Say you were a patreon of a painter. He had created 10 paintings you really enjoyed, so you donate so he can keep going. Would you ever start complaining and withdrawing donations if the 11th painting used oil paint instead of watercolors? Wouldn't you wait and see first if you continued to enjoy his works?

Yes, and look at how much of a shit show that thread is.

We don't want threads to turn into an absolute mess like Ecchi Sensei due to multiple chapters/specials/etc, which is why specials get their own thread, and prequels/sequels get their own thread.

Different title, different mods needed, different translations needed, can be played as a stand alone version, so new thread.

I don't think the ES thread is a shit show because there are multiple chapters/specials, etc. I think it's a shit show because the 2 main chapters (week 1 and day8-14) don't flow seamlessly from 1 to the other, and each new release needs its own DM patch, and the thread/LewdPatcher don't communicate that clearly.

I'm OK with multiple chapters in each thread, but this should be communicated right above the download links.

s***t , i'm still on High Sierra (10.13) .. chapter one works fine , on chapter two, i have sounds, dialogues.. everything except images...

Same for me on my Mac. High Sierra and have tried everything but get no images except when first starting I get MC kneeling and then only get Town map & houses but then nothing

Works fine for me on Mojave (10.14.6). I thought it might be webp support, but a little investigation shows that webp was included in Sierra, so you should have it. Can you guys see images on any crunched Ren'Py games? Those have the images converted to webp.

If "constructive criticism" is telling the dev that they should focus more on inserting mindless fucking scenes to please those whose only thoughts in life are "sleep, work, eat, fuck" rather than breaking the mould by building an intricate, intriguing, and impressive story, then you don't really know what that term means.

Don't bother with it. Just start a new game and that'll get you right in at the start of chapter 2.

Of course there is, there is conditions from chapter 1 that follow these one, there is alot! The save propose on the game is a harem path with all major choice to the harem path. There is other important choices that you may have different result, exemple BACON photoshoot, Stolen dildo (said Bacon stole it...) Some Nika choice you made during chapter1... if you dont care about your choice and result it may get, do a simple new game one!

If you save at the really end, after credit when you see the time machine pic, it should work flawlessly!

You need to load a previous save in chapter 1, play to the end, but be careful! You need to save on the frame when the time machine shoots red lightning. Then it works.

Don't bother with it. Just start a new game and that'll get you right in at the start of chapter 2.

I don't know what the new game default story is, but with my save I got the scene with Gaz apologizing to Bacons mom because I told her to in ch.1.

Also, I got to keep my custom name. So I think it matters, somewhat atleast. Scratch that, Motkeyz be laying down how it is. It matters alot.

Load an even earlier save. I assume you didnt use one save slot the entire playthrough?
Also, what would be the point of using my save? You want to play with the choices you made right? If you don't care, just press new game
