I hope he continues with this game, seems very promising. (I really like the art, the dialogue isn't bad, and gameplay has a lot of potential.)
That said, the first dungeon (wolf one) feels pretty bullshitty. I equip the sword, fireball a wolf to open the first potion chest and get the meat beater, equip the meat beater, fireball/meatbeat another wolf to get another small potion, then a third wolf to get the doggy bone.
The journal mentions the bone but the inventory and battle menus provide no way to use the bone. I figured maybe the bone activates automatically so I went about my business.
The only thing I haven't tried yet is using "charm" on a wolf.
Clearly there's something I'm missing, but that said this feels like an awfully restrictive first dungeon design.
EDIT: okay so I recruited the wolf but then still got a game over. It seems really particular about the order you do things. I wasn't really expecting a puzzle game when I downloaded this...
