This is very bizarre. I am having the same issue with testing if I hit 10 repair kits in total. The error it's bringing up is an issue with ren'py itself and not my script (pointing to renpy/display/core.rpy and ui.rpy). I've never looked into these and have never touched them so this may be a bit before I can come up with something.

[edit]: the error was about tring tobuy the repair kit before the scene where you unlock the gunsmithing station

I found a work around for now that fixes it until I figure out why it's an issue with the ui files, I couldn't proc the error again on my end and tested via several saves.

You can replace all files or just the zera trade one.

Updating the main download links now with the fix

Thank you for pointing this out. The melee weapon used flag very well may have not been cleared from a previous fight and carried over.

It was awhile ago, I think it was just a random encounter or maybe a barricade. If this is already a feature maybe I hit melee, but I'm pretty sure I didn't on the time I'm thinking of. I know for a bit I was finishing enemies with kicks to see if that would prevent the degradation until I figured out it didn't.

Delirium infection sounds fun, thematically, any idea when that's getting implemented?

Getting ready to check this out, I noticed that there have been a couple of bug fixes. I downloaded the first one. How many are there, and will re-downloading the game have all the fixes already in?

If you downloaded the GDRIVE link the first post says that one gets updated with hotfixes. It might still be safer to just download the patch as well and apply it regardless.

For this most recent bug, it was searching for 'healing_lesser' instead of 'healing_lesser_quant'. After fixing, saving, and then recompiling to update the main googledrive link, I went back and searched it again and it had reverted back to its pre-fixed state after compiling.
I'm using Visual Studio Code and have reported the bug to them, but if anyone else has suggestions, I'll happily take them because this is far from the first time this has happened and it's getting frustrating.

VSCodium is a very similar alternative but opensource. I personally like to code with Emacs, but I get that it wouldn't fit everybody.
