The game has an interesting beginning, then stalls out for an obnoxiously long middle section, then ends abruptly. A disappointment, for me at least.
Just wait a bit. Shouldn't be too long before he posts the public version, and it's usually better than the early access version.

I don't entirely agree. The first trailer is CGI, the second in-engine, but even The Witcher 4 showed that the character might not look like that. And this is merely promotional material. I recommend preparing for a game downgrade. Why is there also a strong emphasis on race swapping? What was wrong with the color that every natural-born British woman has? It's also unclear who is working on the game's script. I only know that one of the people worked for Netflix and created this:

As long as the game is fun, most players wont mind the changes made.
Yeah, Atlantis looks good. Catalyst doesn't, but hopefully that'll change.

Personally I thought the remake of the first game "Legacy of Atlantis" had the better looking Lara, and looked better as a game overall. The new game "Catalyst" looked a bit disappointing tbh, but these are early teasers. There is a ton we don't know yet.
Considering the rumors that were circulating for quite a while after Shadow (open world lesbian Lara??) and the terrible animated show I'm glad that they overall went with a lot more classic approach to the new games. I'm also not totally sold on the look/graphics yet but again - could be much worse all things considered.
Wild speculation of course, but a reason it took so long for these games to be announced could be that they switched from a script/concept for "modern audiences" to honing in on the legacy and classic Lara fans instead.
And it's good that she has 'some boobs' left although still not lore-correct. But as it's Unreal I'm sure there will be mods :-D .

Slowly, other information is leaking out. The plot of Tomb Raider Catalyst will take place a year after Underworld 2008 and before Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light 2010. That would make sense, given how the character looks. For obvious reasons. They are distancing themselves from the last three parts. As if they never existed. The famous argument between developers, calling each other racists and fascists. In short, the original developers did not like the direction the game was taking and the script created by influencers, which was terrible.
Last 3 parts as in the survivor trilogy? They literally reference it in the trailer
Yeah she even wears the same green pendant as in the survivor trilogy. I have to agree, though, that it seems to be far less relevant than I expected. I thought the new game would land somewhere between the surv. trilogy and the old games, but they are really jumping quite ahead for that matter.
