You know, I always leave the patreon homepage open to see the number of posts waiting for a new post once in a while. It used to have 69 posts and I knew that the update was coming very soon due to the few anouncements we had. A few days ago I saw it had 70 posts and I got all exited since i thought the early release is here (i still won't be able to play it though because unfortunately i'm not subscribed to the patreon due to my fincial situation, but it still gets my hopes up that the public release is very close). Then I saw it was just sneak peak, and i now my hopes are lower, but don't worry I still support the game and have faith that the wait will be worth it.

EA release should be ready end of this week or early next week.
It's by far the biggest update to the game yet, similar in size or even a bit more content than the whole of Chapter 1.
Now EA is out, is the public release going to take longer than usual to come out? I mean, it for other updates it took about 9-18 days to come out, but since this update is so big and it took way longer for the early release to come out, it might as well take longer for the public release to come out than usual. So I was wondering when will we most likely see the public release? Btw, I’m sorry if I’m sounding so impatient, but it is just that I’m really enjoying this game, I have been supporting it for a long time, and I think the dev is doing a great job. So I’m so excited for this update and I just can’t wait to see how this story ends.

...why is it that dev's always seem to think vanilla is the most popular? Boring vanilla is what real life is, I would think the majority come here for something different.

Hi brhmartins86 - If you haven't already, you can lower the difficulty to "Story Mode", this makes the fights easier. If you're already on the lowest difficulty and still struggling: it can be a good strategy to not always walk through the whole dungeon, but collect a few health items (berries, health packs) instead, then exit the dungeon, sleep and go in again, so you have enough items to patch yourself up going through the fights.
I get what you're saying, although 'Romance Route' might not have been the best way to call it, think of it more as the pro-Clara ending, i.e. you become a couple which won't be the case for the other endings. Regardless, while there are romantic moments yes, there's still a lot of crazy unhinged stuff going on and Volta also makes a return in this ending - so personally I wouldn't call it 'vanilla' ;-) .Jstforme said:

As for the release date of the public version, hard to say at this point - thankfully there is not a lot of bug hunting needed as it is mostly a linear / dialogue-choice driven affair; however there are a few additions that I want to include such as an additional interactive scene, gallery secrets, video animations etc. so all in all - most likely this month but hard to say when exactly, sorry.
