Variety is what is important, if everyone is big then it gets boring and if everyone is small it is also dull. Bigger is OK, but not if they are plasticy air balloons. The bigger the tits are the more they need sag, gravity, weight and momentum.
Daz studio is really bad about this. I prefer HS2 or Koikatu as a cheap-and-easy modeler because it comes with built-in tit physics.

It's about natural tits, big, small & medium. Too many big breasted women in 3D look as though they've had silicon implants. How does anybody think it looks good & that includes RL? They resemble a young schoolboy's idea of how to illustrate a sexy woman. Tempted to dial up the measurements? Just say NO. Women who look proportionate, that's what looks best IMO. I'm tired of seeing BBS... Beachball Breast Syndrome. As for complaining, I'll do it as & when required, because it's time for some realism, as in, not every "Mom" needs airbags. Given the nature of my game this is something that comes up with people dropping by to ask the same thing about the big breasts. This lead to me looking into just how many games there are with big breasts, and the results were illuminating.

As a general rule about 45% of games have the big breasts tag, which is more of an over tagging issue. Most reasonable people would say that having one girl with DDs does not a big breast game make, but people have known the tagging system here is borked for ages. MAYBE a third of those really brake the D cup barrier, and it's a tiny fraction that actually concentrate on the huge and a decent amount of those are japanese VNs rather than the western indie stuff. Variety is important (although admittedly my main game does lack it...) but there is an epidemic of having one moderately stacked girl and now you've got big boobs covered and you're a big boob game.

But I've got a theory on why people think there are basically only big boob games out there. That is quite simply... peoples eyes are drawn to big boobs... give your best girl full on H cups or bigger and people will click on your game. Even if you don't like that thing you see it and scoff (as is your right, not trying to tell you what you like) but your mind passes over the 9 other games on screen with it. Big boobs sell. I've got two games out and one is a row of girls with massive milkers and the other with regular sized girls and I can tell you there is a dramatic difference in click to the actual game. It's a bit of a small sample size but I think it holds out as a larger rule with other research I've done.

So in short, why so many games with big boobs? There aren't, your eyes are just drawn to the big boobs. Love em or hate em.

I can neither understand the obsession with ginormous breasts nor horse appendages... sure, it's a "fantasy", but as soon as a VN has these ridiculous body proportions it takes me out of it. I am relatively new to the whole VN genre and my original conception of this genre was that it's more akin to an illustrated version of your typical romance novel or movie and not something that looks like something a 14-year-old with raging hormones may doodle in a sketchbook going all "giggidy". I do not know how old the average demographic for VNs is or how old the average dev is, but I would not be surprised if the people consuming and creating them are rather younger than older.

However, I have discovered several (popular) VNs that entirely avoid this and give both the female and male characters realistic proportions, so maybe it's not just a minority after all that prefers human proportions instead of caricatures. And even some of the really popular VNs like BADIK offer realistic looking alternatives to the over the top bombshells.

If a VN only has these big breasted monstrosities I just avoid it altogether. I absolutely don't like that at all. Same goes for horse appendages. Plain silly.

Well weirdly enough all girls are different. As a general rule girls dont care or are basically like "hur hur". Comedically large breasts are, unsurprisingly... comedic.

My favorite are flat-chested ones but deny that big boobs even in abundance are amazing is a sin. I think that the problem lies in the variation of body proportion and age/appearance. I'm a D cup myself and I find those giant breasts laughable. As in like, Karryn's Prison size. I'm ok with proportions being a bit unrealistic, it's hentai after all. But there's a line where it becomes unappealing to me. Like others have said, sometimes it seems as though some artists have never seen a real woman naked before. My favourite is when they draw the vulva super high for some reason(?) and also forget to add a bellybutton. Just takes me right out tbh
