So, I just started myself so here's a little status report from me since I'm looking into it myself in my free time. I'm using game version v2.1.
After finding the right tools (T++ with Livemaker add-on seems to be the only viable choice), I ran it myself through AI and there are some kinks I'd need to sort out before a formal release. TL quality itself after all seems deceptively high quality.
To-Do:
- Fix Battles (I 'member, Touchable battles also just let me win for some reason and it was likely a failsafe)
- Look into other potential UI issues since I had reached a softlock after the second battle.
- Change font for backlog due to widespace
- Actual repack the game. I suppose I'll need the Livemaker for that.
Still, if in some event I were to give up or someone is just faster in fixing (I don't mind since I'm more intent on playing), I'll provide my version 2 .trans file (fixed glossary since I had it auto-add first; added another prompt to perhaps deal with stray Japanese) without any fixes I've got to do myself first.
Required tools for injecting: Game, T++ with pyLivemaker Parser add-on (extract game through a new project, load .trans, export to folder)
Required tools for translating: The above plus LinguaGacha (create Glossary, Set 1 concurrent request, 15 requests per minute, 1500 tokens per request) and Google Gemini API Key (is free and uncensored) or any API of your choice.
Edit: I've fixed a few things but am currently at an impasse due to the engine, looking at the available means really got me stumped because I do not know where to start. Turns out that any extraction I could find does break the game, even without TL. Unless somebody with LiveMaker experience can guide me, I don't think I can and will continue.
Another Edit: Thankfully I can resume work after this awkward crash-landing. I had been missing the lmtool and today and tomorrow I will see if it solves the issue.
