The reason why there is "rabid" defenders of the product is because those that invested in the game/company wish to maintain high hopes that the product will prove valuable in the longterm and not a waste of investment. You see this type of behavior in any product or corporation with 'investors' and since each patreon of Boi Wei can be 'kinda' classified as an investor for the product of ToT with access to a communication platform which they can talk to one another. The end result will be exactly what you see now, a few rabid defenders of the product with a larger public outcry against the product. But the main difference here is that these 'investors' aren't seeking profits in return, no. They are seeking something else, what they're seeking is for the end product to have been worth all the money they've spent to help fund the development for the product, aka a more entertaining product that has a beginning and ending. But the more false promises the developers give to their 'investors' the less income they'll probably receive since being lied too and given false hope for those types of 'investors' are the 2 things you never wish to do and if you start talking down to them as well like some companies do then you'll be seeing even more of the leave in droves.
Bottom line here:
They aren't acting 'rabid' because they're hoping for X leak or whatever. The reason why is because these Rabid defenders are hoping the end product will be filled with enough 'enjoyment' to satisfy the amount of money they've invested into it.

I wanted to apologize for my unforgivable behaviour, either here or in discord generalizing over this forum(the screenshot posted by the guy who loves polemics, other way you wouldnt had posted it), i used to check it a lot at the beggining and it wasnt this toxic, i also said that of course you are not all the same, holy fuck, i feel so stupid having to say this, but i´m pretty sure that at some point there´s been a disconnection between both communities, f95 and Tot´s discord.
What i wanted to say all along, and i havent, was exactly this, we do not wish to cause any hate towards anyone for a damn porn game XD, we just want people to chill and stop blaming each other, but it always ends in conflict... it´s true i got sensitive towards ZaZZa due something personal, i blame both of us equally, that doesnt mean i have anything against you all, i comprehend the dissapointment with the devs, but do not let that get to you, to the point of blaming others, if they do not deliver, eventually people will stop supporting them, which is happening, hope you all forgive all this babbling, love you guys (nohomo)

You need either a shitload of critical hits or 2 consecutive critical hits at the exact right times, (one after her attack and the next one before her attack) when she's just above 200HP to keep her from drinking a potion. It's all luck... there's a few things you can do to improve the chances of getting in striking range, but nothing other than crazy good luck (or cheating with a save edit, etc.) will get you past Scarlet at Lv 1.
