Why is Bo working on an SRPG?
Do these delusional developers of h-games sincerely think we care about their half-assed attempts at game design?
The gameplay is literally nothing but a vehicle for the porn, save for a few extremely rare exceptions.
These guys should be thinking porn first, gameplay second. Every aspect of the gameplay should be there to enhance the porn. That's why early ToT floors work so well. Fighting and losing actually adds to the feelings of submission of the player. I am not saying the gameplay has to be shit or discarded, but it should add to the eroticism or be reworked entirely.
That's why I found it especially laughable when that one Halloween sub-game (sub as in sub-par) had the most simplistic and useless puzzles so far. It's literally just busy work to pad out the game.
Early ToT actually handled some of these elements really well. Like thinking your out-of-combat sabotage would harm your opponent when it actually helped them. Removing Yvonne's boots might not be a smart idea after all. It peaked, IMO, around Cobra, when she began to take everything you had worked so hard for and even taunted you for it.
Ever since then a lot of the non-porn aspects of the game have been totally uninspired. Even the last Ms. Clause update with the shoe puzzle, while good in theory, offered nothing but time expenditure before reaching the porn. Why not make it more personal? Something that involved the mistresses actual personalities or traits would have been more interesting than the abstract puzzle we received. What if, for example, you had to degrade yourself in a specific way that coincided with the owner of each pair of shoes? Nope, stand in the right place and move in the right direction. Such engaging content!
