Do you guys even know why they do side projects? Ask yourself, if they did a side project on its own with its own funding, would you fund it?

Obviously not. Nobody would pay for hallow mansion, or warrior guild, or whatever trash they throw out as an excuse to delay. They just want more money. Truth is they could have finished TOT 2 years ago, the only reason they didn't is because they didn't want the money to stop coming in.

The truth is, they are scared to release even one more floor, because every step they complete in TOT is a step closer to less money.

I call bullshit, at least partly. Some people who do side projects do it because they are sick of working on the same project for one or two years and need to do something else to stop themselves from going insane, or they take will take a short break. I know that's not the case with tower of trample, since we got hallow mansion, and might get level 0. Instead of swan part 3 or floor 7.
But if we want to hit Koda and bo where it hurts stop supporting them until they give what they promised. that simple. I stopped supporting them in October when they came out with Hallow Mansion. And I won't be supporting them until they either release swan part 3, level 0, or something I feel is worth my support.

Yeah I'm going to need a more concise distinction between what you say is ok and what you say isn't. Because I'd bet a substantial sum that every example of people here saying "objectively hurtful things" about the development are things you'd decide are them pretending to be a victim of crimes against our inalienable right to porn. Seems more like a distinction you've manufactured so that you seem like you're ok with criticism from non-patrons despite being very aggressively not that at all.

As an example, I called the development process a circus, others have said Koda must be jacking off all day, or that it's insanity that 7F has taken literally years with no real end in sight, etc. How much of that is your acceptable criticism, and what of it is pretending to be a victim? And what's the difference? The magic of arguing with subjective words like "entitlement" and "insult" is that you can say whatever you want on those terms and no one can dispute it objectively.

TL;DR: Very few people in here are being victims. A heap are former patrons. And barring the people who are delusional enough to think you're Koda in disguise, no one here is frothing at the mouth over this or insulted or entitled; just very unimpressed with a practically cartoonish development process. Just think; I'm someone who periodically helps Bo and Koda with development and even I still reserve the right of people here to give criticism. Non-patrons can't say that they themselves are being scammed, but they can say pretty much everything else.

Honestly debate making a TOT style game myself or something similar to the smaller games they use to R E L E A S E. I dont get why with all that patreon money they would stop. If anything id try to do better and release more so I can grow out a fanbase because theyre the people who become patreons if they trust you. The code would suck but as for art and general ideas I have a few...
