If your talking about Jessica the Jester, to get mind broken by losing to her, wear the Jester hat when you fight her, lose for real instead of surrender of course.

did you make her use the "space conversion" or whatever it is? she will use it around 1200hp. Lose to her after she uses that and it will progress her submission route. After that I think she gives you the jester outfit and you will have to get her to use that "space conversion" thing again and lose again (while wearing the jester outfit) and it should progress the submission route

When the thread randomly got locked this month, the clown decided to "gloat" about it on the off topic thread and was immediately laughed out of it. It's clear that he knows it exists, it's just that he doesn't care all too much
I mean I kind of get that statement (I kind of disagree to an extent) it's just frustrating when a dev loses confidence in what they're doing and makes a 180 midway through the game It feels cowardly tbh.
I mean i'd still say story is important in the medium of video games porn or otherwise as it's literally the driving force behind why you're doing any of this shit. And in a sub genre where RPG maker games dominate the majority of porn games this becomes 2 fold since even with some of the more positive reviews on this site you can see a clear growing of people getting fatigued with RPG maker games. So it goes for show that writing has become more important. I'm not expecting Kingdom Hearts here but I do expect a dev to at least attempt to stick to their guns with a project rather than backpedaling hard.

She has never used any move like that for me... It's just normal basic attacks, or ballbusting kicks. I was able to defeat her the second time I fought her, but after that she seems to have gotten harder without any change in attack patterns/moves.... Maybe my savegame is somehow bugged?
Maybe, but search for Jessica in this thread and look at the posts from around the the time it was released. You will be able to find loads of info there
Okay, so after crafting a bunch of Potions, I was able to beat her for a second time, and that seems to have triggered her "I better take you seriously" dialogue... so turns out the key was to win not once, but twice...

I just played through all of Jessica's content again just last night. Don't focus on beating her yet. All you have to do is survive until she uses her attack "inverted space" where she turns the screen white. Once she does that, it's okay to lose and you'll unlock new scenes.
If you're having a hard time and losing before inverted space, you need to level up more. Just keep losing against her and level up. From a story progression standpoint I feel like that's what she's there for, just to level you up because there's kind of huge an imbalance between the fifth and sixth floor.

Not quite. There was a release about 2 months ago of a standalone file for floor 8.....because the guy they trust with floor 7 STILL has yet to release it. Word is end of the month for release, but that is a commonly broken word to release.
Other than that, the Bo Wei has posted 2 QA "games" that in my opinion prove his intent to move into a full RPG setup for a further release, random encounters and all. This doesn't earn points for "I didn't abandon ToT" however and is merely an opinion on his next direction.
