What I liked, in particular, is something that I wish happened where we could see it, as readers but is significant in its own right. When they are making love it is exposed that Sarah already told Lester that Dan was fired, leaving him to believe that Dan was completely out of work. Even with this being wrong, Dan specifically asked his wife to keep quite on this situation and NOT to share it with Lester. Within one week, she broke a trust so sacred that courts of law cannot force you to break it. The sanctity of trust that one married partner can always have one single person they can share everything with without fear of reprisals or testimony against them. She broke that trust by already sharing with Lester that Dan lost his job. What I want to know is how did this all go over between Sarah and Lester: emotionally, psychologically, and conspiratorially. Did Sarah just let a slip of the tongue out or is no secret Dan has ever safe from Sarah sharing it with the man who hates her husband, fucks the shit out of her and has the absolute most to gain by having that information. Even if it is used as a tool to force Dan back to Middleton and Sarah to Chicago ("Dan has no job, so he can't stay here," Lester tells them, "but I am willing to switch spouses and let Sarah live here with me and we will continue working together and making sure that Dan has a roof over his and his children's head." Sarah finds herself aroused all to hell watching Lester evicting Dan. You see where I am going with this and it would all be due to her sharing a spousal secret, breaking a sacred trust, and fully betraying Dan over Lester. Since I like fictional betrayal this is where I was hoping it would go, just wanted to see and understand the particulars of it better.
I really liked your idea. Now we just have to wait and see how Silver will deal with this part of the drama regarding Dan. Remembering that Lester still hasn't changed Sarah's medications, could this information, plus a possible friendship between Sarah's parents and Lester, bring about the total loss of Dan for Lester? I want to see the consequences of the characters' actions in this final part of the story. I'm rooting for something closer to reality: the couple's separation showed that they had a financial problem that ended the marriage.

What happened to Lester’s wedding ring?
I was wondering the same thing, myself. Imagine the heartbreak Dan might have felt if when he looked down and saw Sarah's wedding ring, it was on the finger with Lester's engagement ring (which, does Dan even truly know about that ring? He wasn't around a lot to see it).

I’m not a huge believer in Chekov’s gun but DS has dangling items everywhere.

Interesting. I mean the ring has served it's purpose on several occasions and I'm sure it will come back later. However you have me curious what I'm missing--what other non-penis related items do you find dangling?

lester talking with Sarah's parents ,slipping innuendoes ,gathering information and letting them know he's helping the couple

Also sarah 's parents being unaware of their affair (maybe the dad gets a little suspicious )

Also we will get to know Sarahs mother

Hope Ds is cooking something big for ch 30 ,

Sarah's 'missing' wedding veil and Lester's fantasy sex chair comes to my mind

I was under the weather so I couldn't immediately post my thoughts. I'm back now and judging for the ch.29 alpha, so is DS!

It's been a while since i read a chapter that felt like it was actually written by Don Silver, you know what I'm saying. I guess bottle episodes is just exactly the story needed : put the main characters back in familiar place and remind us the heyday of the series, which for me is chapter 7-16. Maybe I loved this chapter because it aligned well with one of my unrealized fantasy about this series, that I posted earlier in this forum!!

What I most loved about this chapter is the primal aspect of it all. The trip from the living room to lester's bedroom, from his perspective felt like a scary jungle trek. The beginning of the failsome felt like a mating fight between two snakes (which later devolved into a battle if dominance between Lester and Sarah) Through his eyes over this series we witnessed a beauty and the beast tale turn into predator VS prey hunt. Except this time, he came crashing into reality, that Sarah isn't a prey, but a predator herself. And he is not even a prey, might just be an ant getting crushed between their sweaty bodies.

I agree with verisimilinude that this is the first time I actually felt sorry for Dan.

I've lost all interest in Toxic Attraction tbh haven't read since ch19. Don't care anymore. Story got dragged too much for my taste.

That said, I ask the experts like kahwa78 if they can get their hands on executive privilege ch 5 by mad stories. I wouldn't be too greedy asking if other stories are possible. But I'd like to read executive privilege 5. Thank you.

Glad to her your "over the weather" now :)
I didn't get the same vivid reaction you seem to have gotten, but now that you've laid it out--it's quite apt for the scene. I did like the failsome quip, good one. I've always felt like Sarah was a predator, though if we used BDSM parlance she's certainly a switch - she can be both dominant and submissive.

As a novice writer I'm curious - does the setting matter to your reading enjoyment? I've got an idea for a Dark Medieval Fantasy series, setting is along the lines of Game of Thrones but focused on the erotic elements/storylines. Does this have any appeal to anyone, or do they prefer their erotica to be present day settings?

And if anyone is interested I have a new series up on Lit-E.

Dan saw the ring being given to Sarah in the chapter in Lester asked Sarah to marry him, with Dan the Cuck paying for everything and being arrested. Sarah took off the ring because it would be too painful for Dan. (A good revenge is Dan taking the ring and selling it) and buying a new one for Sarah. (Lester makes Sarah wear it at work). Either Dan takes the one Lester gave Sarah and sells it, or Lester will find a way to make the one Dan gave her disappear again. Dan has to find our wife, Sarah saying that Dan is unemployed was a serious betrayal, and if she forms together with Lester a way to use this against Dan it will confirm the End of love, then we will see if she really loves her husband or if the respect is over.

Oh I love the medieval fantasy setting for erotica. I'm always on lookout for such stories (Oldman & the queen by steamyencounters, though incomplete is my favorite). I also love mythological (Greek or otherwise) and fairy tale settings, thought I haven't found a story that scratches that itch, yet!
I do have to add that its not the genre i have issue with, it's the length. Sometimes I find such authors spend too much time on world building and the story becomes convoluted (sound familiar?!).

Yes I know what you mean, though it's a fine line you have to walk - writing erotica - you have to have enough context to help the reader understand what's going on but enough sex to keep them entertained. It can't be all worldbuilding and it can't be all sex or (at least in my opinion) it becomes a soupy mess that no one wants to consume.

Anyways I'll let you know if I get it out of my head and down on paper. You mention the length as an issue - I was thinking about 5 arcs, 25 chapters and 15k per chapter. I now wonder if it would be better to do each chapter as a vignette of our heroine's adventures instead of long form--loosely connected as it were.
