While reading this chapter, Did anybody else thought Dan will be the one to bring up Otis, when Lester was chirping about his performance ?! The way that scene was unfolding, I thought Dan will say something about him and Sarah learned it from Otis, to throw Lester off balance leading to an argument between the married couple and maybe Sarah agreeing to go on a secret date with Lester to make up for it. I did like the way it turned out, though. It showed once again Sarah is in the driver seat of this relationship.

I also thought the peephole will come to play again, like Dan wakes up in the middle of the night in his room, notices the empty bed, immediately looks into the peephole and sees Sarah cuddling Lester. It would've been huge contrast from before when he only witnessed them as lust filled maniacs through that hole, now he peeks into them as romantic couple. Hopefully he does that next morning in next chapter!

This is my personal opinion, I thought the entire sequence of Lester just jumping into sex with sleeping sarah, the dream and Sarah waking up to Lester pumping into her needed a bit more touch up. I think Lester should appear last in the dream sequence and it will link up better Lester initiating next round. Since the previous scene had Dan being turned down repeatedly by Sarah in her sleep, I thought DS will contrast that with Sarah replies mmhmm in sleep when Lester verbally asks her for another round (which coincides with Lester asking for the dance in dream sequence) or just subconsciously stroking his dick and guiding it to her pussy

I didn't think he would bring up Otis, at all, as this is where his de-masculation started. He started feeling less of a man when he watched Otis fucking his wife, them teasing him about not being as big/good as Otis and Dan felt helpless/hopeless(?).

As far as the peephole, I am still looking for him to go use it and find it is filled in. Lester could tell him that he gets to peak when he can pay his rent again, with cash and not his wife's pussy (his words, not mine).

Annnnnnddddd....truthfully, its an alpha so it's first draft and mistakes are expected with changes coming later, but this was probably the sloppiest I have ever seen Don show something to readers. He must be really busy, I assume.

The same in every genre. Write an NC story and put it in the NC area, with warnings at the top of your story and you still have people attacking you for writing that and putting it there. Over the past years I have noticed a type of story, which is only revenge porn, where the husband is vindictive and wipes out his wife, her lover, and friends who helped her and then sells the house, the car, her clothes, and empties the banking account. He then meets the perfect woman and they laugh at the old wife who cheated and see that 10 years later she still sits on the old porch naked, with no clothing, and crying because she is so alone and she screwed up soooooo badly. Finally, he and his new wife have sex, while thinking about how pitiful and deserving his ex "bitch" wife is now. I don't see how you make it every day with that amount of hate and vitriol. Reading the story type just makes me a touch nauseous.

But as the story progresses and shit goes way beyond what is started out being that they just keep reading it hoping it can get back to something that resembles to what it was at the beginning. Problem with that for readers and in real life is what happens when you start in the type of life style this what usual happens. The wife will find someone that fucks better then what she married to, then the lies start and so on it goes. I think what most have a problem with ,like with stories like this where the relationships start to be more then just physical. Like the reader can start reading not only the story but the writing on the walls, that the marriage being over and yet the husband are completely blind to that fact to where it looks like the husband is being emotionally abused. I think that's why NEIGHBORHOOD CHRONICLES was so well liked, because the wife went out of her way to make Bill feel like she really loved him.
Me, myself I just skim through these stories not really paying attention. But occasionally comment about them but it's when the story already went off the rails by then. I personally believe that half of these writers about this subject are incels that really believe women are like this and that justifies them not being able to have a relationship with the opposite sex and the other have believe that women act like this to justify their being in homosexual relationships when they aren't really gay but have been burnt by a female so bad that they can't get over it.

I liked Vanessa White's story, because it was more like seeing something that was closer to normal. After years together, Sarah lost all trust in her husband, even respect. Now Lester is kind of disgusting, he doesn't even change his habits, he has a big dick, so Dan should find a black guy for her, a new bigger black guy every day, since she doesn't care about appearance or hygiene. The problem with Dan's marriage is that the first problem is that everything went wrong (lack of money). In Sarah's case, I think that in the end, she moves on with her life and Dan moves on with his, and the marriage ends, which is what happens most of the time. It's clear that Sarah's love for Dan is over, she feels more sorry for him than respect and love.

I don't share all your views on the topic, but I do want to commend you for providing a thoughtful and informative view on why people might read a story like TA and then be upset with how it unfolded. In the case of TA I can see the points you are making it did suggest it would be a Vixen/Stag story but then radically changed after ch7.

Now in TA's case I don't blame a reader for being upset, I do put fault on DS as (imo) he didn't really define Dan's character or his motivations accurately, or accurately enough to warn the reader. Too many times we would see Dan's thoughts of lust and then revulsion, but then his actions didn't lean one way or the other, like he was trapped in amber and was a simple voyeur. And maybe that's what DS was wanting Dan to be, I don't think any of us will really know.

Again appreciate your helping me see things from a different perspective.

Why do people relate to the cuck tho? I read this genre and identify with the guy fucking the wife. I like Lester. I skim past Dan sections on most chapters because it's boring to me.
