It's definitely a good angle to take the story. I think the only change I would make is that while Sarah is on the phone with Dan, she'd be in bed with Lester, and when Dan gets home on Saturday she'd be facing the door with Lester behind her on the couch, she'd say to Dan "Hey you're right on time, go sit in that chair, you know how turned on I get when you watch."

I don't have a dog in that hunt. I'm here to see what happens not predict how it will end. Based on how DS has written the series it's a logical conclusion that Lester will achieve his goals, as to whether he "wins" or not, remains to be seen.

I stand by my original comment, I would have stopped at ch14 and had 1 possibly 2 additional chapters to wrap up the aftermath. I think the story was on a good trajectory for that arc.

I know many people have said this throughout but seriously, for me it is Sarah + Dan until Sarah experiences sex with Lester, then Lester manipulates and ruins Dan while taking his wife from him. I know on the outside that's not original but there were ways that Don was writing it then that make it appear so.

-Bring Lizzie back earlier.
-more intimacy between Lester/Sarah, especially in public. More dates, I suggested a shopping spree. She gets lingerie and Sarah convinces Lester to buy new clothers
-Give Sarah some friends and have her relationship with Lester exposed
-more information on Lester's previous exploits

I have just imagined Lester to be a fit man or average and read the story. Idk why people would like to be Dan. I think they missed the plot personally. But then again everyone has their preferences. I read NTR thinking of it as me doing the business . Not me getting cheated on. To each their own!

I had promised myself that I would no longer concern myself with the content and the path the story has taken in the last 12 or 13 chapters.
I will not break this promise, and I will stick to it.

So I'm going to offer some thoughts that, while not personal, may be uncomfortable for some readers.

I have a feeling that some people here who are probably very upset about the humiliations, insults, deceptions and backstabbing of the main protagonist Dan - by Lester and the desire of said readers, also by Sarah - are reaching a supreme fulfilment.
I can't help thinking, even if this is a fictionalised story from the author's imagination, that these readers themselves are obsessed with such "tendencies and fantasies" about themselves and their partners.

Anyone who claims to have a sound mind would never allow themselves to be insulted, insulted and humiliated by a third party in the presence of their partner/wife.

Before you share such depraved fantasies and deviant desires, you should put yourself in this situation, which you absolutely want to see and experience, and ask yourself:

When a person who is grotesque and mean fucks my wife, the mother of my children, whom I love and care about, in my presence, impregnating her while using her in the vilest of ways, while also insulting and humiliating me in the most vile of ways - is that horny? Is that exciting?
If they are okay with it, enjoy it and are happy about it, then it's fine with them.

You should wish for the other person what you wish for yourself and your family!

I find the way the author DS treated the main protagonists Dan and Sarah extremely questionable. This act is absolutely unacceptable and I condemn it in the strongest possible terms.

Not to get too philosophical but I think the answer you are looking for is the term Morbid Fascination.

The weird feeling you get when you are obsessed with the things that disturb you. It's why there are traffic jams on the opposite side of a car crash, here in the States we call them looky-loo's, or why people binge true crime shows or horror films. People just can't seem to help but be fascinated with/by dark, taboo and/or horrific things. The more in disturbs someone, the greater the pull to consume it becomes. Humans are complicated creatures.


But then again, I think that's why we read fiction, because it's not real, it's an escape from the mundane.

I don't think I'm reading your statement correctly. This story, based on the definition of the word, should be a cuckold's wet dream. I think you mean the Wife Sharing/stag vixen camp who are upset by how Dan is portrayed in TA. Personally I've never been upset with Dan's role in the story as a husband, father, etc. I don't find Dan to be a sympathetic fictional person because he's written as a weak, indecisive and passive-aggressive character. There's no reason to root for him. I fully admit it's a pet peeve of mine when some try to stand Dan up as this paragon of virtue, when Dan is the one who instigated Sarah's introduction and continued experimentation into the Hotwife/Cuckold lifestyle. All three of them have equal credit/blame for the current situation they find themselves in.

Dan because he hasn't said - this isn't fun anymore.
Sarah because she (at least in the last two chapters) has become a cock-hound/borderline sex bimbo
Lester because he's a mean-spirited, selfish, manipulative person who coveted another man's wife

All that said you've generated an interesting thought experiment.

For anyone who wants to answer: If you had to live out this story as one of the 3 main characters who would it be?
For me it would be the Sarah up to chapter 29 - she was the most intelligent character of the three and she has booty calls on speed dial anytime she wants. lol
