At this point, it feels like most readers are hanging on just to see how things end for characters we were once deeply invested in—back when they still felt compelling. Much of what originally made this story so engaging has faded. Sarah and Dan are barely recognizable now. Naturally, characters evolve, especially after everything they’ve been through—but this transformation feels too distant from who they were in the earlier chapters. I genuinely hope DS finds a way to reignite the intensity and emotional depth in Sarah and Dan’s relationship. Without it, the story risks continuing to lose the very heart that once made it special.

I’ve been following this story closely, and like many of you, I was completely drawn in during the earlier chapters. The characters, especially Sarah and Dan, felt so real and emotionally charged back then. But as the story has progressed, something seems to have shifted — they feel distant, less compelling, and it’s hard to root for them the way we once did.


I was wondering — what kind of scenarios or plot developments do you think could help bring these characters back to the emotional depth and engagement they had earlier? Whether it’s a twist in their relationship, an external challenge, or something from their past resurfacing — I’d love to hear your ideas!


Let’s brainstorm — what would you write to steer them back on track?

To sit there and say I don't have the imagination to be able to read anything outside of my carefully crafted world view, so everyone who can is a sick asshole. You are incredibly close minded and instead of saying I hate this story and wish the author dead and just leaving, you have to stick around because you get your jollies from judging others and insisting that they all live life the way you do.

My wife and I both agree that personally having a cuck relationship holds nothing for us. We don't judge others, though, unlike others. People can do whatever they wish and we will do whatever we wish. Our wish is a fully monogamous relationship between a husband and a wife approaching 25 years of marriage. However, we both have the mental acuity to enjoy fantasy through other mediums. Hell, my wife also reads cozy romances, that must mean in your limited mental state that she wishes to get in the way of police, damage murder scenes and insist on solving mysteries herself. That's inane at best.

In the future, why don't you leave judgement at home and stay away from stories that you find repugnant, you have the right to that, but I already deal with judgment every day as I am an able bodied man married to a woman in a wheelchair and I get everything from, why would you do that? are you looking to take advantage of her or are you taking pity on her? She's crippled (not even smart enough to see that she would rather be regarded as a person, not a wheelchair and not a condition.) Not to mention the idea that they need to keep their children away from her, because wheelchairs are contagious.

In conclusion:
I really like the story, at least up to and including chapter 29.
In my opinion, the author has lost his way a little. Perhaps he will later reflect on the very good previous chapters and make
a correction for the good of all (at least for the sake of many fans and readers).

However in your original comments (paraphrasing) you state that anyone who isn't of a sound mind (loosely meaning anyone who doesn't agree with you) is depraved, deviant and absurdly repugnant.

I'm sorry if you can't see the folly of your comments, but you can't get any more personal than that. Your comments make it very personal, to anyone who does not share your views. It's judgmental kink shaming and IMO there is no place for that kind of thinking.
