I do think they share some commonalities, in some fashion they might even feed off of each other's work. Though I admit DS has a consistent style for how he writes, where Ant77 does seem a little more chaotic or stream of consciousness in their style--sometimes at the detriment of the story. TNT being a prime example. At least TA has stayed true to the 3 MC's (with some exceptions and meanderings, of course).

I guess that depends on what you consider a truly dark story to be. I gather some readers here on the forum, already think TA is a dark story or at least darker than they'd like it to be.

I think Dan wants to experiment with new stuff and TA's is not where his heart actually is

But he will have to drop some subplots .there is no way he can resolve them all satisfactorily

I don't think they are the same writer but I do think they were both disciples of AvidReader (Neighbor Chronicles).

You can really tell both Don Silver and Antarctica took inspiration from AvidReader’s Neighbor Chronicles

I remember how AvidReader changed the game when first released NC, it took literotoca by storm and instantly was the hottest cuckold story in the space. Too bad he never could finish his own work

True, like you said it’s his moneymaker and it’s really hard for a literotica writer to make a very popular story much less one that can support you financially

So as long as TA maintains its popularity he won’t give it up anytime soon and likely will keep dragging out potential plotlines like bringing new characters for Sarah to fuck and Dan to continue be miserable lol. Lester and Sarah are pretty much iconic in the cuckold writing spaces atp lmao. A lot of new writers are to trying to capture the appeal and make their own version of Lester and Sarah

I do think he’ll only start wrapping up the story if his newer works pop off like TA did. Neighborhood Encounters is the first to come to mind that actually has potential

I hear you and you're likely correct, though at some point even a good thing must end. Even if you crave ice cream, there's only so much you can feast on before it loses it's appeal.

As for NE, I can't put my finger on it, but something about it just isn't working. I like variety and think it's important for stories to branch into new areas but something about the eco/political angle just feels off to me--like trying to force a foot into a shoe a size to small. The pool scene in ch 3 shows potential, but I'm still on the fence about it. And maybe it's just me, but the husband comes off as creepy.
