I have it outlined and started writing some. I got this huge idea for a story that I ended up writing as a stream of consciousness story. It may or may not be fan fiction, if I keep the character names than it is but if I replace them with original names it is not.

You do what you feel is right for you, but I'd always be in favor of keeping your original work. I mean there's no copyright on the fictional NY police dept and officer(s).

Reading the final of NE4, I think I understand why things have gone off the rails. Back when Chillie was still active, he and I were kicking around the concept that Grandeman or one of DS's other editors was actually writing the stories and that's why it seemed so off.

Now it would seem we have the proof, or it seems that way. I don't know if this was a mistake and we weren't suppose to see it, but I can't see a good reason for this to have been left in the final document on purpose. I mean it appears to me that for NE, Grande is doing the original writing and then DS is doing the final editing pass. And if it's happening on this series, then it could (probably is) happening on TA as well.

I don't have access to his Discord so maybe this is new or was discussed there, but it seems damn peculiar to me.

You are correct that it could have been a cuckold story without involving anyone other than the main three characters. However there are several narrative reasons for them.
- it shows the reader how Lester is taking over and controlling Sarah
- it exposes Sarah to different sexual themes (hard to have a threesome (if Dan is sitting in the corner) without two other guys
- it illustrates for Sarah's character that Lester is dominant and that she won't be able to push him around like she does with Dan

Having said that, DS (imo) has gone overboard with some of the other scenarios. I've stated before those scenes could have been 1 or 2 page entries and then moved on and still established the narrative objectives above. This is the crux of the issue that divides the readership; the money grab camp thinks he's doing it to rake in more money, the I want more partners camp, enjoy it because they like the variety. Neither camp is wrong to have their opinions, but it does create issues.

This is what troubles me the most. In an ideal world, author's would have an idea for a story they want to tell and they write that story to the best of their ability. However the reality is we all need to eat, pay bills, etc., and sometimes profit outweighs what's best for the story and they are seduced by paying customers to add things to the story not originally intended.

Ok, You have some points here.
What I think is DS could have finished the first part with more freedom and start a new one with less strings attached.
He would have freedom to tell all those side stories without having to allways stick to a previous situation.
DS probably was afraid of loosing money.

I think you mean The New Tenant ch10 lol. This is where the story should have gone after ch9.

I get your POV but to me this and Executive Privileges is better than TA now. TA to me is a lost cause.

I hear you and certainly understand if people bounce from it now. But I'm either a completionist or a glutton for punishment, either way I'll continue to follow it to the end. Just not as engaged or as excited for each new chapter as before.

I noticed that but didn't know who grandeman was. That makes a lot of sense. That guy is probably really in sync with what the subscribers want which is why the story has devolved. Every kink has to be featured. Rim/gangbang/interracial/breeding ect.

No real intimacy, no character development, plots and characters introduced them dropped. This isn't a coherent vision.

Gotta say, read the newest Young Couple and that is exactly what I have been talking about with a betrayal fetish. I do not know why I, myself have it, probably seeing people who are not inherently bad, acting bad, but anyway I was glad to seen Toby finally take Kim and her being turned on immeasurably to helping Toby betray and crush Josh was awesome, in my book, I finally get to see my fetish in action. (as I have also stated in action and word, I am not for real betrayal, real betrayal sucks and can result in a lot of messes of psyches with the end result of psychoses and other psychological maladies).

Truthfully, I think Toby had his claws so deep in her when she told Josh she would never touch Toby again, that she actually did not really want to stop anything with Toby and she hid the resentment she felt of her husband taking that from her because he was weak and hurt. I think that's why she started asking guys she cheated on her husband with if they would rape Josh and I am waiting to see of she keeps looking for that, because Toby might be the guy to do it, as much as he hates Josh and how fucked up Toby and Kim actually are.
You know, weird thing is the "fan-fic" that Antarctica posted actually hit me with betrayal in a way that I actually really didn't like at all, but I really liked Young Couple, New Tenant's new chapter.

I still think in young couple Toby gets Kim no matter what, but Josh wins in the end keeping Linda, and Amber was her name? Since she's pregnant with Josh's kid. Not sure how things will play out with his sister, and how anything will happen with the dog around.
It's all an adventure on how we will get there.

Yeah this was the reason I stopped reading after chapter 9, it didn't make any sense and defied all the foundation that Ant77 had built up to, it was like the rug got pulled out from underneath the reader and the couple had this fairy tale/no consequences conclusion to the arc.

The writing is great and the sex scenes are among the best, but then a lot of Ant77's endings don't hit right (for me). Of course not. She cheated on him when she broke the only rule: doing it without a condom and cumming inside. She degraded herself at work, not because of her husband, but to please her lover. He had sex with the other student, because of her lover—her husband—she's long forgotten. Then the girl from France took what she thought was hers, what had been abandoned. Same thing with Sara. What's Dan's fault? She's breaking the rules and losing herself. We have to admit that writers lose themselves, in the case of a teacher with a student. Much worse than Sara, Sara's problem is not locking the doors.
