I'm in the mood for a goooood toxic relationship but they're surprisingly hard to find. Anything where the protagonist is in love with someone who just makes their life so much harder, but NOT any NTR/cuck shit. Proper "romance" but it can be abusive, though it doesnt have to be.

Examples would be The Coffin of Andy and Leyley (duh), Superhuman (with Ella), Imperial Chronicles with the sister, or Crimson Grey. In all of these, the MC flip flops between wanting to strangle their LI and wanting to strangle them in a kinky way, that's the shit I'm after. (I know in crimson grey its more that MC is afraid of her rather than wanting to kill her but yknow)

Preferably stories where the MC isn't a total wimp and actually has a little bit of agency too, there's obviously lots of femdom/humiliation games where the MC is in love with some total bitch who just ruins their life, but I'm looking for something a bit more equal and back and forth, if possible.

I appreciate any recommendations!

Ah yeah, I guess that dev has a thing for messy relationships lol

I do remember playing Moneky Business a loooong time ago and really liking it, but I never went back to it once it was completed (the sandbox changes fucked up my saves and I never restarted).

Definitely a good suggestion, the sister I remember as being a total adorable handful. I'll give that one another go, thanks!
