Give them time.
Yup. Not making Eve an LI should be a crime haha. I mean look at that rack and solid personality.
She's the kinda girl you actually need to survive in an apocalypse.
I hope dev focuses on her character more than the initial duo or trio. Now & Then had 1 or 2 outstanding characters that did not get enough screentime and character development.

Killing off a LI is never, ever, ever at all acceptable in an AVN. Automatic 1 star rating. Or 0 star were it possible.
Don't think dev will outright kill her off. The furthest dev would be willing to go is her returning as a special Witch that still retains her consciousness, something along those lines.

Yeah, Eve is probably best girl already. Really looking forward to more of her, and it seems like next update is going to be a very Eve-focused chapter.

I kinda got the same feelings about Kallie as you. I was thinking Laura would be the first to start showing signs of transformation, since she got a very heavy dose of toxin at the start, but then Kallie got a direct blast from the burned one outside the dorms.

I think there's still the possibility of dev killing off Shelley, depending on how the player chooses to treat her. She's super unstable, and if you're not on her friendship or love route, I could see her just wandering off into the fog, never to be seen again.

I'm not really a fan of Shelley, so I've just stuck to her friendship route, since I don't dislike her enough to want her to die, but I don't want a relationship with her. One thing that bugs me, though, is that dev doesn't distinguish her friendship and love routes quite enough. There are several dialogues that check "if s_friend >= x or s_love >= x", that should be "if s_love >= x elif s_friend >= x" with separate dialogues based on which route the player is on. In this update, for example, MC refers to Shelley as being "friends with benefits" if on either her friendship or love routes, but in my playthrough there have been no "benefits" with her, so it's a bit jarring.

At the same time Kallie's side mission at the behest of Laura, was also helpful, because it's a quick jaunt outside to get into one of the other houses, to get MC desperately needed clothing (I've added dialog here as well, again if ILS likes it) because he had basically 1 change of clothing. If both sets of clothing are ruined by the fog and he's needed outside, he's fucked.
All well and good, but Kallie and the MC could still have gone clothes shopping without Laura and Shelley going off on their own to talk to Eve. No deception or lies necessary.

Sure...they could have, but that's really neither here nor there. They wanted to leave MC out of it for the reasons I gave previously.

Counter point to this the end result is that they caused MC to exhaust himself more physically and mentally so in the end it backfire massively it was a pretty dumb decision on Laura's part in my opinion regardless of the intentions I don't really blame the other two girls though they were just going along Lauras plan plus they are young and naive.
That's not really a counter point, because I never said it was a *good* plan, just that this is what their plan was. I agree with you ultimately, it wasn't a good idea, but I do understand why they did it and why ILS wrote it that way.
