grab the witch and try to "cure" herThere is no possibility of a harem. That's because the MC is stupid and he is going to do something so dumb that he will get them all killed!![]()

Depends on the person in reality - guy with a psych degree. On the subject of Shelley's mental state, it seemed to me that in this last update she was beginning to climb out of her depression. If I am correct, does she immediately revert to the manic state she started the game with, or does she have some period of normalcy?
Don't call it Harem then. But its a fact that poly relationships are a thing, right here, right now; its far from the norm, sure, but it isn't something unhead of either, so no need to suspend any desbelief. I personally know people into this dynamic willingly. Also I'd bet that on a TEOTWAWKI scenario as I mentioned above, that would be even more, erm, accepted, or widespread, or call it as you may.In any remotely realistic scenario in a modern Western society, a harem just doesn't happen; we're indulging in heavy suspension of disbelief in any such story. Which gives devs/authors kind of a tricky task; characters need to behave believably, but in a way that results in an unbelievable outcome.
I believe and hope so, though I note the absence of the Harem tag.
Try it ...again... with the same (lack of) successgrab the witch and try to "cure" her![]()
In the talk he has with Kallie she specifically mentions that he is the one the group relies on and he acknowledges it, not the only time he realizes he's the one they depend upon.Fair. Fair counterpoint: he feels he has to do this so the others can eat. MC here (just like in N&T) is not only too self-sacrificing for his own good, but also for the good of those he's taken responsibility for. I'd consider it a character trait more than "being dumb," but either way it isn't conducive to his (or their) survival.
He doesn't eat because their supplies are limited and no one knows when they will get more. Everything he eats reduces what the girls can eat.In the talk he has with Kallie she specifically mentions that he is the one the group relies on and he acknowledges it, not the only time he realizes he's the one they depend upon.
It isn't like the girls have nothing to eat, but him not eating or sleeping, while the survival of the girls is depending on him is dumb, no way around that... all he does is risking his own and the girls lives if he either collapses or makes an mistake outside and he is very close to collapsing.
Well, on the plus side, maybe if he is out of action the girls must become more usefull (which would be nice) and be stricter with the MC, like that he needs to eat.
Yes, Laura holds him and Kallie shoves the food inEAT, YOU IDIOT!
I genuinely hope she takes over leadership. Aside from that, it would be nice to have at least one other member of the group which is actually usefull. If that is true, will she challenge MC for leadership of the group? [Plus, she has the shotgun!]
This.Yes, Laura holds him and Kallie shoves the food in
I'm fine with the MC/girls acting dumb from time to time and some of it is a lack of sleep and malnourishment.
It's more the point, that after he was called out for it, him acknowledging what was said and then decides to it either way just more secretly. That is something which annoys me...he knows it's stupid, for him and the girls, yet he still does it.
And he is lacking sleep or such is not a excuse for that.
In fact, I did mention it a few messages above, and I really believe this could result in a noticeable change in the group. Here's one that no one has mentioned.
Assuming garage-lady is the 4th LI, she seems to have it somewhat together. If that is true, will she challenge MC for leadership of the group? [Plus, she has the shotgun!]
Would make for some additional interesting drama.
At this point, only Kinder&Co know how it will unravel. But to me its pretty clear that this 4th LI will introduce a new interesting factor in the equation. Also, given that she IS a love interest... well. Also, have in mind that the appearance of the 4th Love Interest is imminent, she will be present on Ch12 (and has already been introduced on ch11). That could surely disrrupt quite a lot the current group dynamics.
Didn't one of the recent updates say we'd meet the 4th LI in Ch. 11? I don't think I'm imagining that. And if that's the case, the 4th LI has to be either garage lady or the witch. And we've ruled out the witch, I think. But we didn't meet anyone else in Ch. 11.Didn't the garage lady (assuming she's the 4th LI)
Yes, yes, she did. Enough so that I don't know that the clothing would account for it.look like a bit, erm... mmm... like really big?
WTF is TEOTWAWKI?Don't call it Harem then. But agreed poly relationships are a thing, right here, right now; its not the norm, but it's neither something unhead of, so no need to suspend any desbelief. I personally know people in this dynamic. Also I'd bet that on a TEOTWAWKI scenario as I mentioned above, that would be even more, erm, accepted, or widespread, or call it as you may.
Indeed its a challenge for AVN writers, I will not deny that. But it's not like they're trying to unravel String Theory or the general Relativity, just making some extreme human dynamics beliable.
The End Of The World As We Know ItWTF is TEOTWAWKI?
...though with TID, you could dispense with the "AWKI" part of the acronym.Exactly what happens on previous ILS games (Now&Then or The Interim Domain).
Hahahah, fair enough...though with TID, you could dispense with the "AWKI" part of the acronym.
Never heard it before in my life. The End Of The World As We Know It
A pretty common acronym describing the kind of post-apocaliptic situation that happens on some games, films, tv series... Think of zombies ravaging the Earth, nuclear winters, post-global-pandemics, worldwide environmental catastrophes... Basically anything that collapses society on a more or less global scale.
Exactly what happens on previous ILS games (Now&Then or The Interim Domain). Here in toxicity, we dont know yet the magnitude and extension of the catastrophe, it may be global or just local, but the effects that linger around during the game are pretty much the standard for the term.
What's kind of funny about TID though is that, despite it being literally TEOTW, most of the humans there don't realize it. As a result, as far as they're concerned, they're living normal lives in their normal world. They have their schools, their jobs, their family and friends (sure, most of them are shades, but they don't know any better), and are going about their lives as normal. So while in reality, society has collapsed, none of the (human) LIs know it.The Interim Domain
