Is the game as badly translated in english as the 2nd? It really ruined the 2nd game and I couldn't enjoy it at all, since each sentence was gibberish and didn't make any sense.

Terrrrrrrrrrible game with terrrrrrrrrible translation.
I have a mod that fixes the entire UI and most of the dialogue in the game, except for the H-scenes.

The H-scenes are much better translated than in the second game, but you'll mostly find pronoun errors. I give it a 6/10.
that's a weak excuse, do it like valve, make a service so good people will want to pay you to use it. You can't pay me to play this shit rofl I'm just here to spread the hate, I repeat, do not pay for this shit, don't support this kind of practice.
Question I updated and all but during Hscenes there is no voice acting ? Like you hear noises from them but not reading out the lines or talking. I am guessing I fucked up somewhere ?

They would've made a lot more money from people who loved the game if they didn't make it 180 bucks, even if you absolutely love this series, that pricing is absolutely fucked up and just makes more people want to pirate it.
People pirate because they're interested in the content, and it's been proven that pirates usually will end up buying it later on if they enjoy the experience. But that's completely not happening with that pricing.
I don't understand how businesses are so out of touch nowadays.
3 is worse in all aspects regarding 2, at least at launch, has the lack of content been fixed yet?
Bought 1 and 2 because I really liked 2 even with that atrocious Translation, but man, this last one felt like a scam...

Hmmmm, they sacrificed a good portion of Content for a variety of repetitive animations. The 1st game had abundant content for its few characters while placing the basic gameplay of what's intended to do, the 2nd game tried to expand the gameplay but sacrificed the character interactions with it (Corruption and Love levels with various CG for items you buy)
This 3rd one at least tried but reached Mid tier between the two, not as flexible in h-scenes, replacing it with the abundance of characters instead of building the character, like the 1st game but implements the mechanics of the 2nd game without well.... the 2nd game's mistake of barren h-scenes.

It also came out at a bad time, right in the middle of the payment-processor wars—nobody talks about it, but since last year, maybe October, PayPal started blocking purchases on DLsite. The issue blew up when it happened on Steam, but it’s been going on for months.
Regional blocking sucks and affects us all. For example, Append 2 is only available, for some reason, in Japan; if you try to watch it right now without a VPN the page will say “Sorry...” If anyone knows how to buy on DLsite nowadays, please share the info.
From the image, you have a regional settings issue. You can try "Locale_Remulator.1.6.0" or change your Windows locale to Japanese.
I also have a mod that fixes the entire user interface and some dialogues, except for the H-scenes. In your case you'll always have to play with the region set to Japanese, because your current setting breaks the game (check the stock prices—they're all the same).

It seems you guys haven't played the first game—driver Hasumi has always been a ghost. In the first game the protagonist discovers that she was the driver in a train accident that happened in 2003. She is the one behind the legend of the phantom Kisaragi station (look it up on Google). Although she wrote the story herself, she never says whether it’s based on her own experience or is pure fiction; what is clear is that she died in a train crash.
The third game has its flaws, yes, but people also had very high expectations. The Japanese are more into visual novels and stories, and the lore the third game adds as a complement to all the other games—personally, I feel it makes up for the shortcomings. Girls from different games by the developer appear, not just from the train series. But anyway, that’s just a personal opinion.
Hasumi has a “liberation” ending where that story is told, and a “corruption” ending where she takes the protagonist to Kisaragi station and they make love…

the only minus from 3rd game for me is they sacrifice voiced H scenes in exchange for dozens of cameo characters. but the story itself isn't bad, some characters from dev's other games had their story continue here
Yes, but well, if you compare the first version of the game with the current one, it has improved quite a bit. It's great that the developer knows how to listen—now all the girls in the base game (without Append 1 and 2, but they'll add them soon) already have voices, and they've added the butt point-of-view when you touch them on the train
i have no idea why they made the mouse function as a "drag + inverse movement", its vexing.

since when was train 1 & 2 even having full voiced h-scenes when it was first released... it took a number of patches before full voiced was patched in.
I can progress in the game but the table to sell for more does not move after purchases.
