It doesn't work like that, specially when it comes to Japanese devs, most of them just release a single demo or proof of concept before eventually releasing the final game. To be fair, he said that at some point or another he might release a new demo with some more fleshed out art and content, but all in all, he said that he's gonna put more focus on this game this year, so we might see it released in 2022 if everything goes well.
