i think it would just be more work to learn how to use AI only to then still have to do some manual touches than just doing what he does now, AI can help sure but i think he's fine how he is if not he would have said something either way animation always takes time

Agreed. That's why i like the cartoons from 90's and early 2000, before they try to make 'smooth' animation, or just using 3D instead these days.

First of all, I'm not appealing to you. I don't even know what you said, and I don't care. I just said what I think about AI. Whoever wants to use it or whatever. What I'm clear about as a consumer is that I'm not going to spend any money on things generated by AI or on AI pseudo-artists and I'm not interested in any game with AI generated drawings.

Calling his style of animation a "a waste of a huge amount of time" just because AI tools exist is very narrow minded and ignorant. Art and creating works isn't about reaching a 'good enough' result as fast as possible. It's about expressing and conveying the ideas you have the way you want to. This is never a wasted effort.
