I feel like mtool worked better in the demo.
It seems to translate less in the full version. Like no choices and such

The original release was supposed to be at the end of December. I think they just ran into the typical problem of, "well, we've delayed once, we can't just delay again!"

Anyways I beat the game (translated with MTool) and it was a decent game per usual with Acerola. Wish I coulda seen more h-scenes, half or more of em were black screens and can't access the gallery either :/.

I agree. We'll just need to wait for the fix on those blackscreens. Otherwise, it's not worth playing it.

Really no point, majority of the scenes are black screened, and the gallery doesnt work but sure I guess.

You could, just move the saves to the regular game, and they should play fine, no?
That's what I used to do with one game that constantly crashed on some parts with mtool, I just moved saves between the modified and non modified version, whenever I found a crash to solve it. That should solve too the black screens, although you will have to "guess" the buttons and similar, due to all being in japanese. Not that hard, if you already played the game for a few hours, or just screenshoot the UI on english for something easy.

That's because it no longer lets you do that. If you want a translation, you have to export the original texts and it will create a .json file and all the texts are there and then you can translate them with the translation tool you want.

When you finish translating it, which will take quite a while, you load it back into mtool and you can play. It can also be shared because it is not made with mtool translators, but with a third-party program.The worse your PC is, the longer it will take to process the 280,000 lines of text that the game contains.

Keep in mind that a line of text is between 45 and 70 characters, including spaces.

Is it possible to ask for ur save that's inside the gallery room? I tried this and it's the same issue for me. black screen

Not a Mtool issue, its the game itself not working properly. If you check ci-en JP players are complaining bout it there as well. I should specify when I say black screened i mean the scene plays but no CG pops up its just a black background, and the gallery wont open at all even if you beat the game so im assuming some switch with that is broken.

Some people are accusing Acerola that the black screen CG is not actually a bug, it's that the cg don't exist and they are opening the game to see if it's true.

I think this is just like other AAA situations. People paid quite amount of money (heck this game is about 30$) so they expect a good decent trip. However, what they really got was a trip through Amazon forest with tons of bugs, black screen times where you need to use your imagination instead of lower brain, no CG-gallery (because of Bugs), etc... The crowds are angry so the only option is to set someone house on fire, or a witch if this was 1400

But I've never seen such a level of viscerality, it's as if their life depended on it. If a game doesn't meet expectations, you refund it, Circle Gyu is even worse.

Maybe the issue is refunding it, considering the bias and mess visa and mastercard did recently.

Ah. In that case it's just another Acerola issue. They already had the same issue in like one or two games already in sucession.
At this point, it's no longer an issue with bugs, but they are just trying to give an unfinished work, just because they can.
They already did, something similar like I said before, but at least the last time, they tried to sell an unfinished work, you could play some of it, with just some minor black screens. In this case, I think they just said "meh, we can fix it later" and just uploaded it.
I wish they could, just go and try to to innovate themselves, like when they did the Alchemist Cum Girl game, instead of just replicating the same scenarios, and same bugs each new game.
