Not sure why you are asking me and idk if there's a 3.1 for AE1 there is a 3.0 for EP 3
For AE1 there is a 2.8

Just because it keeps coming up, yes v3.1 of AE1 exists and is not labelled wrong.
If you launch the original Japanese version it looks like this:

There's no way I'm uploading over 2gb with my potato internet though, that would take a full day.

Edit: To also answer "why not just make a version for 2.8?".
This game is constructed terribly, and even 3.1 is still riddled with bugs, using an even more crash happy version seems like a bad idea.
