Having an issue with this one, just stuck on "Now Loading..." , tried with mtool and without, tried running in Japanese with an emulator anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
I tried following

When you say works do you mean it runs without any performance issues? Theres been a few games where the performance drops significantly like down to 8fps after applying the translation and i was wondering if you know how to fix that. Thanks

Anyway I just solved the problem by changing my windows system locale to japanese at region settings

1. Open Windows
2. Search "Region settings"
3. Search for "Administrative language settings" menu in "Related settings"
4. Click "Change system locale..." in "Language for non-Unicode programs"
5. Choose Japanese as system locale and uncheck the "Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support" if it's still in check


This is what I do to fixed the problem that I have. Maybe this could help you out.

ok yea, a different download changed the games folder name that was prolly the issue.
