once you are captured and taken to a monster nest, hold the cancel button (i think, if its not the cancel button tried the others) you will get a message asking if you want to give up, say yes and you will wake up back in town, with the item (warning, doing this you will also lose a bit of money).

So it HAS been updated, but for some reason the ENG version page on DLSite just isn't marked as such. Either way, have the game freshly downloaded and uploaded, for however long it lasts as its me first time uploading and providing a link on Mega.
No saves tho, for those check the prior pages, this is ONLY the game, as I said, freshly downloaded and then uploaded after checking it WAS 1.2
