Stuff like that is usually the result of game files not having the correct Japanese filenames. For instance, my sound effect files look something like this.

View attachment 1056133

Be sure that all of the files have been extracted properly, preferably with Winrar. I hate to say it works on my machine, but it does. As far as I can tell, I never encountered such an error. If I were to guess when this happened (and this is a guess), it might be the first time Rust laughs in the intro. Game can't find that audio file because it doesn't have the right name. Best advice I can give.
Yup that was the issue, used 7zip, switched to winrar and used proper name encoding and that fixed the issue.

Thanks again.

You know, it's interesting playing a game as you translate it. It leads to all sorts of interesting surprises. For one thing, last time, I assumed that the game was divided into three parts stratified by difficulty. But that's not entirely true. As it turns out, on the sixth day, the game will tally up all the times you've lost up to that point, and then give you a certain number of clears left (Which appears to be 7 - Number of clears). Finish them, finish the game.

What this means is that the true ending, in which you never cheat on Alisa, can be achieved on Day 7, not 12. And that's the version I have here today. In addition to another translated H-scene (bringing us up to five), all the lines up to the True Ending are translated. If you never lose, then you can now play the entire game in perfect English, all the way back to the title screen.

Unfortunately, due to the diegetic nature of the journal, if you get the true ending, you also will have no scenes in the rec room. How interesting...Still, I knew having multiple saves would be worth it. Keep in mind that everything past Day 7 (which you can only get to if you've lost at least once) is not finished yet. Get the latest version of the translation here!

You are a legend. I can't wait til Succubus Labyrinth comes out since I did not think that would get translated for awhile but you are anticipating it.

Quick Update, as usual, spoilers abound.

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

As a result of the above, I'm going to have to start making multiple saves and save backups in order to test everything, which will of course take some more time. I believe that I'll have the next update by the end of the weekend. Thank you for your patience. We still out here.

The game I most eagerly await is MGQ Paradox Part 3 (which if it weren't for the part 2 crossover, I wouldn't be surprised if ToroToro scrapped it). The original trilogy was also the first h-game I ever played to completion.

I assure you, h-games can get real complex if they want to be. They are games in addition to being porn, after all

Dude you just hit the jackpot,I wait for MGQ paradox 3 too and the original was my first h game too.
Im a little confused about which crossover you are talking about, care to elaborate?

I know they can be but most dont even try,a h game is lucky if it gets finished.

The latest version of Part 2 includes a crossover with other Monster Girl Games such as Three Charms and Shrift. Granted, I haven't played it yet and you can't use LoC gear, but at least we know the game is still being developed.

Alright, enough talking about irrelevant stuff. Here's this weekend's patch, as promised. A couple of notes.

1. Escape Tag Lvl 3 is bs. It's the only game that's taken multiple tries to finish. Thank god I never have to do it again.
2. The original MTL translation of Search Lvl 3 is also impossible. The MTL hints don't lead to the correct answer.
3. One of the familiars is a raven, yet it was called a spider???

As you may have guessed, today's patch contains everything plot-related from Part 2, Day 8. All of Alisa's scenes and Rust's chats are included. Most of Day 9 is done too. It is also now possible to reach the ending on zero, one or two losses, assuming you win all other games. (they all lead to the same result). There's no new H-scenes in this release. We're still at five of thirteen. From what I'm seeing, I might hold off on them until the end now.

As for our progress, I think we might be almost done. One of the major maps, Map004 has ten lines left. I think we only have three or four Alisa scenes and of course, we're in the last level of difficulty. I plan to finish the lore first and then all of the H-scenes in one fell swoop. After that is some last-minute testing and everything should be finished. I wouldn't say we're in the home stretch yet, but I think we're getting close!

Nice thanks for the update!

So to reach the true ending you can lose up to two times or is the true ending still clearing with 0?
If so do you have any tips on clearing the maze?

To be honest, I'm not sure yet how many losses lock you out of the true ending yet. I'll learn that probably when the translation finishes. I just know that it's less than three. The ending does not change if you have lost zero, one or two times, just the day of your victory.

As for Escape Tag, patience. Trial and error. Quick reflexes. Map memorization. Basically, practice.

I hope they still release it. And yes, I agree 100 percent on the story/ gameplay in h games being important. That is one of the reasons I like Lust Grimm and Domina so much.

You know? It might seem strange to say this as a person with a femdom fetish who translates femdom games. But I'm a damn sucker for vanilla wholesomeness. Strange that I'm doing an NTR game. I get it. This is a game about being raped by a sexy succubus and if you're in this thread, you probably don't think that's a bad thing. But everything Alisa says makes me want to protect her, establishes that Rust is a scumbag, and tugs at my heartstrings.

What I'm saying is that if Day 11 doesn't make you feel anything, you have no soul. Just kidding. Unless...

Anyone, today's surprise double feature is due to my understanding of the remaining work. As I suspected, the max amount of losses for the true ending is indeed five. It is now possible to get through all twelve days on the pure route and see the true ending for five or less losses.

Next update will be the cheating route. Yay. :( Cheating route will be MUCH longer than the others. One, it will involve all of the H-scenes getting done, which will take much longer as each H-scene is about forty lines while the other parts are at a max of fifteen. This will be the last update without any new H-scene translations. Two, the game changes tremendously on the cheating route. To such a degree that I'm not quite sure how long said route is.

See you next time.

The cheating route of this game is so interesting to me. It's not just a change in ending. The music, the lines, the gameplay, the themes, events in the timeline and even some personalities are different between the two routes. It's rather incredible.

I knew this would be longer than the pure route (since this route holds all the H-scenes) but man. It's something else. Furthermore, in relation to the themes, we have Rust's behavior in the cheating route. Scenes seven and eight are decidedly not written in the way I would have expected. Instead of the mocking succubus dominatrix so well-used in this genre, instead, Rust acts... well, I won't say wholesome given the context. But like I said, I'm a sucker for lovey-dovey vanilla, and if you told me that I would find Rust, son of a bitch that she is in the pure route, kinda cute a week ago? I'd tell you to take some meds.

But enough of that intro. This patch contains the translation for the cheating route up to Part 3. Everything in the cheating route up to the Day 9 game selection is finished. It contains three new H-scenes (bringing the total to eight out of thirteen) and all of the plot between them.

As for this thread's updates. It's no secret that the translation is getting really close to completion. I don't know how much more there is to the game after I finish the cheating route. I still need to see what happens if you lose a game on the cheating route and if you get six losses after Day 6 on the pure route. Might be multiple endings. Regardless, I don't plan to give another update until the cheating route is finished and if that route is actually the real end of the game, this will be the last update of just the patch in this thread. Instead, I'll be uploading the entire game on the site at that time. This is either the last or second-to-last update that you lovely people will be getting before the masses. Last chance to see the evolution of the game's translation in progress!

But enough talk! Here it is. Translation V8. Will your opinions on Rust be manipulated like mine? How does the story end on the cheating route? Is she sincere or is the MC jonesing for a spill? Find out, next time!

So is rust THAT bad? Well we already know the ntr stuff

Understanding this question about how evil Rust actually is, is unironically more interesting to me than the H-scenes themselves, in regards to the cheating route.
You managed to peak my interest in this h game, now if only i had the time to play it...
