They are even the same in byte size, so they should be one file, but since you've uploaded it twice, I'm a bit suspicious

I downloaded and copied the file to the game's folder, but now all I just get is a black screen.
Edit: Never mind, I figured out the problem and fixed it.

How did you end up fixing it? I tried copying the MTL and patch to the second game and I get a black screen as well. Only happens with the extra scenes. The main game is fine.

Hey, sorry for the late reply. While I don't know about the extra scenes, what I did was just re-installed the two patches (those two icons that display the pink and light green paper files) and updated the game (the computer with the green screen icon) after cutting and pasting the .dll file. I'm assuming you probably did the same if the main game works for you, okay?
Edit: I just realized you're talking about the second game. I haven't tried the second game yet.

All good! Yeah first game works fine, it's just the saving glitch on the first that most people have problems with. The secon game's extra scenes are their own thing, and I think the .dll is bugging the CGs somehow.
I did the extra scene in 2 with no problems. Sugoi vn translation contained the file also for those scenes.
Only problem i had was a scene in Amakawa's route where the tl file made it crash. Just remove the srp2 file from the directory, Advance from that point, save and put It back and reload. Should be good from there

How are you able to get the second game to work my doesn't open all it does is this I even installed directx9 and turned on legacy components but this is all mine does

Where did you download the raw from? There might be a crack zip inside the raw download. I believe ryuugames got the second game. I sometimes bypass .exe installs, just mount disc via DAEMON tools lite, copy and paste to folder, run once to test that it works, and then replace files with translated files. You're using Japanese locale, right? And still nothing?
