If you ever want to play this game with a decent translation you have to use mtool, its perfect for games with spaghetti code, the new deepseek api is incredible, better than sugoi and chatgpt you also get it on the first level of patreon suscription instead of the second one.

This one still gets eyes sometimes so it would probably be up again without me but also I hope someone with a project slot open picks this up cause it looked and sounded really good
I stumbled upon this thread last weekend and liked this game's looks and unique concept, so I decided to try my hand at translating it in some of my free time.
My Japanese is very basic, so I use Google Translate and WWWJDIC for hints and help on finding kanji, but I do the final texts manually. GIMP is good for text-images (I try to recreate the original look of UI elements as much as possible), and VS Code is great for making alterations, so game date is shown in English properly...

I've been commissioned to translate some other games, and since it's a paid job, I'll be busy for a while. However, if the game remains untranslated by then and I'm still available, I'll try to translate it.
I feel it's time for an update.
The bedroom interactions are finished, and sleeping, the closet UI, and the Kitchen intro are done.
Next may be the foods, items, recipes and such. These will take more time I think, there are hundreds of each, and each one must be edited/modified manually in this shit code this game has!
I can't believe I have to use Alt+255 ascii code in places, because the Japanese game engine purges normal space characters as if it was the Imperial Inquisition!
Maybe I'll get started on the town intro instead if I get too sick of that...

Take your time, in the spirit of Miyamoto: I'd rather wait for a translation to be good rather than rush a shitty translation (or worse, burn out the translator!)I feel it's time for an update.

Just a quick update!
Recipe texts, food images, eating with the tenta-kuns'es is all done, only about a quarter of Olivia's "flavor texts" when eating is left to do. ( This last part feels really tedious for some reason! )
Meanwhile, I finished the "town intro event" just now. Here I took some liberties with the NPCs' names... but I think it turned out right overall!

I wanted to know how much stuff there is for me to do with this game, so I did a rough guesstimate...
