How to make the whole line that starts with a lowercase letter untranslated?

My english no good,thank you!
I understand that you want some things to be left untranslated when translating them. 2 things come to mind:

1 - In the search engine (Control + F) search for "chiefSprite", you can filter it to search for it in the specific file or in all of them. Then in the results select all. Now, right click>with selection>Set Gold tag (for example).

Now when you go to Batch Translation you can have everything translated except for the rows with the Gold tag.

2 - You can also do this exclusion if you have already translated the game, to do this do the same as the search engine, and when you go to "Inject Translation" in TAGS check "do not process row with selected tags (black list)" and select the "Gold" in the color bar. This will inject all translations into the game except for the rows with the Gold tag, that is, they will remain untranslated.

Press Ctrl + F
You'll see a target section on the right, click on it.
In the Context section:

  • Type \message\ and assign it a color.
  • Type \show choices\ and assign them the same color.
In the Translate section, apply the assigned color.

If you use gold, you won’t run into any issues.

Except for map and common events (I might have said the name of common events wrong, but it was something similar), the files like:

  • actors, armors, classes, enemies, items, mapInfos (the text that appears in the top left when you enter a scene),
  • skills, weapons, tilesets
It's up to you whether you want to translate these. They can be translated, but in some games, these sections contain code.

In the system section, you need to say "Don’t translate the blue parts."
That’s how I always do it, and I haven’t had any major issues with it.

Thank you very much for your answer
What I mean is how to set the lowercase letter start in Custom escape, without translating the entire paragraph, regardless of what follows
My current method is:/^ [a-z0-9(\s)]+/gm,
The image starts with a lowercase letter and includes uppercase letters He can still translate
The result is incorrect

Hello, could someone help me with this question.
How can I allow translator++ to translate what is inside the brackets? I know that in most cases this is not translated as when you can name the MC but in the cases that it is necessary for a sentence?

Also thank you very much for attaching the Translator++ versions. :D

Hey, guys. Do you know is it possible to update a game and keep translation, if translation was not made in T++?

Cancel the following in Custom escape:/(?<=\[)(.*?)(?=\])/gi,

If the game is originally in JAPANESE and has an ENGLISH translation, if you use a patch update of the original game, depending on what the changes are you will be back to having content that is in JAPANESE.

If it is not a patch update, i.e. if it is a whole "new" game, then you can check the CRC of each file of each game in: "\www\data". But you will need version 1.0 in Japanese, version 1.0 in English, and version 2.0 in Japanese.

For example if "Map001.json" has the same CRC in version 1.0 (JAP) and version 2.0 (JAP), then you can copy the "Map001.json" from version 1.0 (ENG) to version 2.0 (JAP), that will make the game partially translated.

Repeat the process with all files until you have files whose CRCs don't match, then load the partially translated game into Translator++ and it should only translate the files whose CRCs don't match...

If the game has translated images you should decrypt the images in version 1.0 (JAP) and version 2.0 (JAP), if they are the same then copy the image from version 1.0 (ENG) to version 2.0 (JAP). You can also use the same CRC method if you don't want to do this, however I think the visual comparison is much better, as sometimes the changes are very minimal.

Thank you for taking your time answering my question. It is a good suggestion. Another solution, since CRC of Eng and Jap 1.0 the same - copy Eng translation to Jap in T++. By doing so you assign to specific sentences specific English counterpart and then import it to Jap 2.0 Since CRC the same, translation wouldn't be messed up accidentally assigning it wrong sentence.
Unfortunately, my project was involving Eng of outdated version, without Jap of the same version.
Like Eng - 1.0, Jap(only bug fixes) - 1.5, Jap(Updated) - 2.0
I manually moved Translation from 1.0 to 1.5, lots of times either deleting or adding "inhales" or "silences" because they often don't either exist where they should be before or vise-versa, were added where they weren't before.

Does anyone know how to translate RPG images? I already have them decrypted, but is there a way to do it automatically?

I usually use an image scaler, translate the image with Google Translate, and edit it if necessary. Then I scale it back to its original size.

Those that can't be translated need to be "reworked" :(
