Gemini have many model can be use for free but have daily limit.
Open-AI Addon can use any model and there are many amazing free one on site like Openrouter but still have some daily limit. I personally am using the free Deepseek-V3-0324 on Chutes.ai since it's can be use without any limit for now. I've been spamming since yesterday.

  1. Go to Chutes.ai to register an account and create an API key. Save your key securely in a .txt file.
  2. Visit
    You must be registered to see the links
    to download and extract the plugin files. Place them in the translator++/www/addons directory as instructed.
  3. Open Translator++, click the dropdown arrow next to Translator & Language, and select the OpenAI plugin.
  4. Plugin Configuration:
    • 4.1 In Base URL, enter

    • 4.2 Under Model Name, input any free model available on Chutes.ai.

,download openai-addon.zip,Extract it,you will get a folder with the name openai,place this folder in translator++/www/addons.
open translator++,you will see openai in the list of Translator & Language.

Yes you can. If you go into the open-ai addon folder there should be a Prompt.js file inside the engine folder that you can modify. There's already a default prompt but you can modify that to your liking and test it out.

Like a gemma or aya or qwen ?

Yes, it works. I tested it with LM Studio and Gemma 3 27B ;)
LinguaGacha is also good for local translations with LLM ;)

Okay thx ^^, i need to setup a special setup on lm studio ? Or it's plug and play just using the correct localhost ?
