Free 2.10.8 works at most with Renpy 7.5. I agree. The developer needs the money and I would be ok with slow translation or advertising banners, but when the only way to translate Renpy 8 is with the paid version, I think it's too much. A system in which the versions are constantly changing to cut off the old ones is some kind of maximal piggish.
I completely agree with you! There is no point in paying for something that stops working after a week. We need a *crack* at this invention.
