ai aside, I more or less knew what I was getting myself into since I tried out the first release but nothing since then. While I like how there is a wt mod/cheat available, I really wish there was some kind of actual coherent story along with a list of objectives that need to be completed if dev wants to continue this as a sandbox. It's fine for what it is and even the animations are a decent surprise since I don't remember those being added in the first release.

I also would like to see some kind of notice when we've pretty much seen everything [that is not being paywalled] instead of just clicking on random locations and grinding affection for no reason.

(iirc), there was a time when there was no visible relationship meter for Avery, Caitlyn, or Jessie, and the dev has since made subtle changes to indicate relationship progression. To me, having a completely transparent "Avery X remaining scenes | X remaining Paid scenes" might come off as a bit too black-and-white, and potentially give the wrong impression — like "Hey, pay here for more content." (IMO), that's not ideal.

Now, if this were a "demo" rather than an "early access" release, I think it’d be easier to communicate content availability, since "demo" typically implies that you're not getting all the content. But since it’s still early access, it's a bit trickier to manage those expectations.

With the v0.5 UI revamp and the addition of a gallery, it’s much clearer when you're nearing the end of the content. Once you're only seeing character icons at locations like the hot springs or the movie spot, it’s pretty obvious that you’ve seen most (if not all) of the available story/ero content. There's even the gallery system that indicates this (to a degree, as you don't know 100% if it's locked because of the free version vs patreon)
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
(IMO), that's a decent system, though it could be a bit more obvious when you're hitting the end, something like " A general thanks to anyone the dev feels like shouting out / a personalized message to the effect of This is the end of the content for the current version, look forward to release `xyz`"

The full release seems like it’s pretty 100% B&W when you go to the Gallery and see that there's no locked scenes. Keeping track of all of these differences between the free vs patreon versus as the development advences, just increases exponentially in the time it takes to support the free & patreon version.

That and TBH, we're lucky as it stands to even get a version that (the dev Tatami Visual themselves took the time to spend development time for a release dedicated to F95. The experience seems like it's significantly changed in the full version. (imo) Asking much more development time going into this for the F95 version would only take away from development time spent on new content for each character.
