Yes, there is some mission that are very fun and in which it feels they put effort into it. Eg : the Kashima incident and Siry quest on Uveto were fun and well written from my point of view.
I like some of the quests and stories, Kimber is always fun to interact/talk with never got bored with her. Quests can be interesting like the Red vs Gold mission and Uveto siege.
Building up your motley crew of weirdos and sometimes having an effect on a planet, like certain areas becoming safer, NPCs becoming friendly after a few bouts, can be quite fun. The writing isn't really that interesting although it's better than 90% of CoC2.

TiTs is a decent RPG on its own.
The Leyak combat is bugged, you can still move around or fight it after it triggers. If you accidentally moved instead of fighting, move around hostile areas to trigger a different battle, finish that battle and it will go back to the leyak battle. While you are moving it will proc the warning 'you are still in combat you ninny'
btw this backup is an unchanging snapshot of the two versions as of today. It will not be updated with any new changes if any are added.
As nice as more crewmates might be, there are 22 already (24 if you count Varmint and Siegwulfe, but they're more pets) Among them there are 5 who are modified humans and 3 who are androids and 1 is an AI-GreyGoo. The rest are aliens though, there is a Dzaan, an Ausar, a Suula, a Galotian, a Milodan, 2 Kaithrit, a Kui-tan, a Gabilani, a Half Ausar Dog-morph, the Pexiga, a Raskvel, and a Sparadat. More species in the crew members than any Mass Effect game.
