Just keep this above 50% and when in the appearance screen tab under "Preferences" choose your preferred species.

It's fixed in 0.9.128

Fixes for Uveto ‘collapse’ scenes. Fix recent issue with them not showing at all, and long standing issue where Luna was rescuing you when Jeryn or Jerome were intended.
