I just don't like it.
The gameplay does not vibe with me, while CoC1 and TiTs does. The characters do not do it for me. The world design, while similar to TiTs, is outside of my preference as well. There's no objective reason why, but I tried several times over the years and it's just not for me while TiTs is somewhat I can take a break from for a few years and then come back to have a good time with.

Yeah the mc feels much more restricted in CoC2 compared to this game. Quests actually have more possible outcomes.There's also more interesting "side" content that I wish got expanded like the ships. Too bad Fen burnt out and earlier writers left because it could have been even better.

I think it takes some ungodly amount of time to reset for some reason, two in-game weeks, iirc. None of the other ones work like that, dunno why they arbitrarily decided that for this one.
AFAIK there's no prerequisite other than getting to Zheng Shi. There's a chance to proc it on from a variety of planets, but from my experience it's more common around Zheng Shi Hold.I got a real question

Love th3 game. Only quip is no expansion on the uveto dragon. It's an interesting side quest.
I'm trying to find an answer for this but it's hard to search for, but does anyone know how to import/export your options/settings from version to version? I kind of hate going through options I've set in one version, installing a new one, then having to do that whole process again. It's a bit tedious.

What do you mean? The dragon has had tons of expansions. Like, an absurd amount. You can breed an army with her even.
Mine is crashing on Treated Zil birthing. So they'll hopefully figure it out and push another hotfix soon.

I really don't mind CoC2. In any given update, there's like a 40% chance there's something I either want to fuck or have my female character be fucked by. In TiTS, that number is below 10%. In fact I've basically given up on having a male character in the game cause most of the female (or more specifically, "female adjacent") prospects are utterly grotesque. I like Paige though! Cheers for at least one fairly normal crewmate, even if I think her "femdom" aspect kinda clashes with how the rest of the character is presented.
If this game had more graphics and simple animation .. I think it would be the greatest porn game ever. So much content and various characters , the adventure element , world exploration ect.. it has it all. The only thing it lacks is visuals.
Haven't played this in like 5+ years but I kinda stopped when every new character introduced was over "designed"/described and always a futa/cuntboy pansexual in a polyamory relationship with you being the sidepiece and never the "main love interest".
