Why did I have to check the latest comments? Obviously I should know better and knew all along, but it's still making me feel some type of way having to read about stuff getting abandoned and TiTs as usual being second fiddle to CoC2. These rats are already rushing the last planet, would it kill to find new writers and expand on existing stories instead of leaving more stuff abandoned in the graveyard of content? Fuck it, shill the game to potential new backers even in exchange for expanding stuff instead of leaving it all to rot, run some more engagement polls. I don't know, just don't waste the backers and audiences' time. What a tremendous waste of years worth of donations. I am angry.

Another Group of characters added to the unfinished pile TITS truly is turning into COC1

You would think that between the money coming from both Savin and Fenoxo's Patreons (which is over $60k a month if you combine them both), they'd be able to amass a decent group to actually finish COC2 or TiTs. Hell, the main questlines for both are still unfinished, the thing that's meant to be the centerpiece of your game and you can't even finish that over a 6 to 8 year period? Really?

My friend they wont finish anything why would they there entire income comes from furries that will not complain regardless of how long it remains unfinished and honestly speaking 60k a month and all you have too do is fix bugs and write a single sex scene a month and your patrons will never complain why would you finish it

Well there weren't any Bianca updates while he was still working with them, it's safe to say that she's permanently shelved now that he's gone

That was more of a sweeping statement about all the abandoned characters. Regardless of their writer.
Fisianna released all the way back in 2017, and her writer has been gone since 2021. She's abandoned just like Will's characters are.
And I don't expect anything to come out for Nastizia either. I've waited enough with Azra (once again back from 2017).

I don't understand why they *have* abandoned characters. Like, there are multiple options to avoid that:
1) Put someone with similar tastes on them to write them.
2) Same as above but have the original writer consult.
3) Go further and ask the creator to write them at a freelancer rate (put it as a monthly goal for the Patreon or something).
4) Take them out and put in a legally distinct clone and... well still do option one.
5) Take them out all together. (Unfinished content looks worse than no content, at least imo.)

I am gonna bring some Positive or more thought provoking stuff back to this thread with 2 things

1. Pretty sure I said this at some point time here or it my have been some were else but A TITS style remake or maybe a game with the same setting and themes as TITS but in a classic fallout style of gameplay would be cool. (Fallout 1 and 2)

2. TITS but in full 3D would go INSANLY hard not gonna lie IDK, how someone would do it but I think it could work REALLY well, like GrowthRPG, Not exactly the same gameplay style of course but Visually 3D in the same way.

Both would require alot of work of course but I think these good make some pretty good games so Thoughts?
(And I agree will leaving sucks)

What stings the most about watching games like tits and coc2 flounder their potential is that there isn't really any competition that one could go to. I do appreciate that (in the beginning of their developments) furry characters were an option, not the default. I find that furry characters are a lot more interesting and exotic when they have normal humans and such to compare them to.

When everyone's super, no one is.

I'm not gonna go into detail about what things I like about the games that's kept me paying attention to them this long because it wouldn't really matter...and I also should have fallen asleep by now. But, I will ask. Does Will have any socials or a patreon to pay attention to? And does anyone have any similar games to tits, coc, liliths throne, or the like? Don't even care about TF apart from just being able to make my own character to the specification I want. And again, furry preference as an option.

...Might go back and explore through Wills contributions, he really was the best writer on the team. He made such good characters. I guess I'll see the new laquine incoming, I liked his laquines.

There really isn't anything quite like this unholy trinity of CoC2, TiTs and Lilith's Throne. They are very unique, and so they don't have competition, which leads to stagnation and decay.
The couple games that have any degree of similarity to CoC, don't have player transformation - you're stuck as is after character creation screen. Though, I'd personally recommend Lust Doll Plus.

I would rather call them three Horsemen of a Text-Based Apocalypse: Self-insert , Greed and Postponer. There is also the fourth horsemen Remaker, but he is more present in other projects.

As someone who likes to write. I'm still so confused about how throughout so much time, this game has had so many problems with writers and unfinished stories. Much of this game is literally just a literature novel with in game flags for what happens outside combat. Legitimately, whatever the vetting process is seems to cause writers to just leave.

Like it can't even be that hard to write or vet, it's smut of all things. Literal pages are dedicated to descriptions. PAGES. And when TITS does get writers who seem to love writing actual plot, they leave shortly afterwards. Like, the actual amount of non descriptive storyline writing is nowhere near being enough to complete a book. I am baffled how this is with the amount of time that has passed.

Looking into the comments of that announcement, even some are the devs are saying William had stories that had arcs that reached too far. The example used was his plan for the retaking of the station, which was announced when he jumped onto writing for the area. (A literal short story of writing)
Which is an odd bash considering the dude was sidelined numerous times for content that was not what he announced. (Then he was silenced)

Pride or overbearing correctness is causing the writers to dwindle. That's my guess. There's no way in hell a writer would be burnt out by writing what would be considered a small amount of chapters to a short story, hell writing books takes less time unless every page is quadrupled checked, rewritten 12 times, and still told to fuck off with the order to work on something you weren't tasked for...

Fen loves to say it's the writers, but I feel it's the hilarious problems of the last decade still existing. There are hints that there is no sort of outlining that is consistent, writers waiting for fen to finish the storylines or code, writers being moved to work on other stories???. Just all around a mess for a writer. Not to mention the qualifications for being "hired".

The problem is with Fenoxo management the main devs/writers believe they are the best and cannot go wrong that is why they have hissy fits when people tell the something doesn't make sense or people won't/don't like something,
They are the one that have the vetted writers in chains so most of them cannot write what they want or what would be popular,
It's the same thing happend with CoC many characters/scenario were unfinished.
