I play good games multiple times as well. A good harem game that allows you to go with a single LI could be easily played multiple times, choosing a different LI each time.

I'm sure if the dev wants you to see all of their hard work with one playthrough, they would make a kinetic novel.

Personally, I have a difficult time conceptually grasping the concept of a harem. Magic, goblins, orcs, etc. make more sense to me than how harems work. That's why I can play pure harem games that give you no choices in who you end up with. It's like pure NTR games make no sense to me at all, but games that use NTR to enrich the storytelling, I don't mind, as long as it makes sense to the story. Some people's brains just work differently. I may not necessarily understand your point of view, but I can see it makes sense to you.
That bit about NTR enriching the storytelling... sorry. That's quite improbable to me. But, you do you... I can't stand it, and it is enough to drop, ignore and block that game and it's creator forever. No second chances.

What Harem games provide to me? Well, I am quite attracted to the multiple lovers idea. I absolutely detest the cheating of going hiding those relationships. So, the only option is either an Harem or (my vastly preferred option) a polyamory relationship. Based on truth, respect and consent.

Why do I detest NTR so strongly? Because it is based on the very opposite of that. Lie, disrespect and non-consensual. To even fathom that a story can be enriched by this, I would have to have some type of acceptance to that. I don't. Never had. Never will.

Well, thankfully none of that will happen here.

Peace :(

Nah I play all Talothral's games for the story and multitimes I played them each one of them. The story has a magic and I find the girls or the lewd scenes with them great addition to the whole story. I do like the harem aspect which in a philosophy it is as natural as the monogamy path in life. Doesn't help that I have read how most religions in the past wanted and pushed the harem way for them to have faster believers so in the end taking away any hypocrisy I believe what you feel is the correct natural way for any of us. Some choose monogamy, some choose harem good for both of them.

Your point of view is understandable. The difference is I see harem games as cheating by having multiple lovers, and if the girls are all okay and happy about the situation, it throws any realism or drama for a good story right out the window. There's no sense of accomplishment if everything is handed to you without some struggle or work involved.

And yes I also completely understand your view on NTR as a lot of people share it. But Sometimes having the MC hit rock bottom by being cheated on or having jealousy between various characters in the story adds a real human element to the story. You feel terrible when it happens, but in a good story, the MC climbing out of that dark hole and redeeming himself by finding a true love he was meant for and maybe even getting revenge on those who hurt him are just the cherry on top. The huge emotional swings in the good story make it all worth it.

Sadly there's not many games that can do that or have done that right. Don't get me started on pure NTR games as those are as unrealistic to me as harem games. There's no way a person with two brain cells rubbing together would act like any of the characters in a pure NTR game. It's easier to believe in the concept of orcs and goblins.

The thing is... there is no cheating involved when everything is done openly. Do you think that polygamy or polyandry are cheating? If done in hiding, if it involves lying, deceiving, or going against the wishes of one of them? Yes, it is cheating. If, however, everyone involved is consenting, informed and willing, there is no cheating.

If you recall, I said that my preferred option was the polyamory way. Do you think that people in this type of relationships are cheating? Cheating who, exactly? Remember, they are in a relationship with everyone, so, who's cheating?

But, let's go to the more common Harem (in terms of AVN's) where there is one male with several females. All of them know about the others. No one is forced to stay in the relationship. Everyone accepts it. How is this cheating?

So, you are projecting, which is a very human reaction, it is how we understand the world. There are several problems with your projection. One, everything is easy. Obviously, that is The Fantasy. Two, everyone is happy. That is the end goal, but, is it instant? Some authors will go that way, most will throw a few wrinkles here and there, a minority will make you go trough burning coals. Three, realism. There are still Harems in place in many locations around the world. Are they common? Never were. They are a Male Power Fantasy. Yet, they are still real.

You can play this however way you want. But, the truth is, you are denying yourself a GREAT story and a nice fantasy, by trying to apply IRL concepts to a story. The only one losing is you.

Peace :)

If this has been found before, sorry.
Just a small typo that trips up the reader.
I don't have the image but its right outside the cave after visiting the ruined village.

"I came to see if there was left in the village."
Obviously should be "...there was anyone left in the village." yes?

"Then they prayed on it and made some sacrifices and sometime ater they became all wobbly."
lowercase "L" is missing.

also "Speaking of you cloud trick, we need to talk." s/b "your"?

Later at the tower
Satya
"I never known my parents..." Should be "I never knew my parents..." or I've never known my parents..."

and later when Satya says "But no, we don't have just us. We have all of you." is the "all" transposed intentionally? ...it's normally "We all have you." ??

sorry if this is not the place to offer spelling corrections. I was supporting another Dev doing English corrections and Since I like this story and dev so much I'd like to help it be even better.

Cheers,

Wouldn't it be after, not alter?

I read it as Satya saying the nagas now have the whole group Tomas had been traveling with, as opposed to just referring to Tomas. So it could be intentional.

So when's the MC gonna fuck his cat? I mean he's already fucked just about everyone and everything else including that hot fairy, and his buddy prob has dibs on the centaurs so his cat is just about the only one left still a virgin.

I don't recall seeing a beastiality tag. Altho. That said. I'm not against the familliar growing into a neko. Even if it's just temporarily.

You also forget that this is fantasy world, where powerful and important people are basically expected to have multiple wives, to ensure that their line continues. It's a cultural thing in the world and people in many places grow to even expect it from those in power. MC rising to the position of archmage would constitute him being also in that kind of position, especially with how the world is progressing. Also Talothral is good in writing that there are issues that people in the harem have with it, and with each other, during the story, that are dealt with during the storyline. Also it's not that everything is handed to you if you go for all LIs, there's multiple decisions you have to take to reach the point where multiple LIs are all ok being with you simultaneously.

Not to mention that having multiple wives is beneficial also for the partners in the scenario of the game, they have more people they can safely rely on without having to worry about potential betrayals. There's multiple options for training their own children, since many of the other future wives have different expertises around the field of magic, or other important skills like thievery, so they can guarantee that their kids will receive the best possible education. Also with multiple wives there's always someone around the kids, that has more vested interest in their well being than any hired nanny would have. These are all points of views the LIs themselves point out during the game in their discussions about the issue of having to share MC with others.

Sometimes the MC is just such a doormat in his exchanges with others. Way too accommodating. This seemingly unimportant exchange as an example:

MC: And make peace with Ayaka.
Aria: I'll think about it.
MC: That's all I ask.

No that's not what you asked! Why retreat from your own request like that?! How about expecting more from people you treat more than fairly? The correct reply here would have been ''You can do better than that!''. You have to act like a leader for people to treat you like one.

Yeah no. MC approaches these things diplomatically, he doesn't take sides and thus reduces the chances that there's resentment that remains. Basically he is trying to be unbiased arbitrator between the arguing sides. Him trying to force them to make peace will only backfire in the long run, since it would not lead to real peace between them. With this approach he makes them honestly think about the petty feud they have and actually trying to put themselves in each others place. And the fact that he isn't imposing himself on others like that is why there's so much loyalty towards him from his companions.

I don't agree. The same approach will not work with everyone. You give some people an inch and they will take a mile. Even diplomats must assert themselves when the situation calls for it. I think it's quite dangerous for a ruler to allow his requests and decisions to be dismissed as suggestions that can be ignored.

It's true his ways have made him popular but I'm not sure that equals being wise. I don't think he's getting the most out of his people. Many of his followers would also say that he takes too many risks, especially to himself. They would welcome him asking more of them rather then to put even more on his shoulders.

The whole world's fate is at stake here. Using a light touch might spell humanity's doom.

Diplomats stop being diplomatic when they are okay with starting a war and secure in their believe that the other side can't do anything about it.

i personally wouldn't want different mages having a go at each other inside my home, if i could avoid that.
Also i dont see MC wanting to blast them both when it comes to that.
