Regarding the spoiler mentioned above(ref update 0.8.0) question I replied to different ways and so far I don't or haven't seen a difference. I have save path "my soul" and "no-one's". I don't know if I got lucky and picked the 2 that match or if something else is going on and I'm actually missing things! Since I haven't seen a difference since then the last few updates I have stuck to one path, the latter one.

It's one of those decisions, where if you take either one of the good decisions, the consequences will be down far into the future.

well considering one off the choice you make super early for gladelings only took effect in the latest public version i'd guess that choice hasn't fully played out yet.
but yeah that atrix soul choice made me start using the WT mod.

The "my soul" is safe option and kind of the "heroic" thing to do if you wish, for the "no-ones" isn't in the VN yet. Not entirely sure of which of the five different scenarios I put in... maybe all of them. Don't know, have to see what makes sense...
By not telling it at that stage would have just delayed things further (as it will come out during the sentencing) and potentially made things much worse. Imagine the feeling of being betrayed at that moment by a loved one. And truthfully? While the scene would have been interesting in itself, at that point it would have been adding drama for drama's sake.

To be fair here, she isn't in a rush. Eventually all souls (human anyway) are hers to be collected, of course, exception being them being devoured by demons.

Hello all!
Monday, and you know what that means, a progress post. So, what's up?
I have one scene left to render... and here I thought I took a day off? So I'm more or less pleased with how things are going with rendering. It still will take a day longer to render than normally, but it isn't that big of a deal.
Writing... oh the writing. It's in okay shape, things got shaken from original plan as usual. I tried to follow the path I set earlier, but it just wasn't going anywhere. So I just stopped trying and wrote, still follows the general plan just not the way I thought...
And an actual preview, just a short chat with Eirlys and Iraea... Now as you may notice this is in the library and Yuu is missing. Fear not, she will be there. Just that there is a possibility that her joining the tower might be missed thus this is on that side of things...
And then something completely different. One of those strange ideas that pops into my head from time to time and need to get out... Anyway, short break and some writing and things for me...

Save name...? I went back and looked at preferences:Save Descriptions:Enabled/Disabled and noted that neither choice was enabled. Not sure what Save descriptions are because I don't name, don't see any "Save file" descriptions except the date:time.
I've been working on a workaround as sometimes deleting the previous save game does not remove the error.
The most consistent thing is to go to and reload the most recent 'good' save after deleting the game to be overwritten and then save to that spot.
Also this error is not evident until several saves have been done.
Still it's irritating....
Interesting. That is strange behaviour that I frankly haven't encountered before. I'll see if I can replicate the circumstances somehow... I have some doubts that I can but have to try...

If it may help, I noticed that after I disabled the preferences:Save Descriptions I have not yet had the error and I can save over older save files. As soon as I enabled descriptions, (once to begin with, without putting in a description I admit) I got it. I then disabled descriptions and as I said, it's been working. This was over the range of Updates 24-26. I'm catching up to the end of the game from where I had to correct my wrong response.

Interesting... I'll take a look, I do have a suspicion why it happens but need to confirm it. But it might be one of those things that you end up just saying "do X" to fix. Anyway.

Hello all!
Wow... I'm not going to lie, I wasn't expecting to have the update done by now. But I handed it to testing and things last night and managed to get some extra sleep. So yay?
So obviously, outside of the few tasks when I do the builds after the final testing I'll write what remains of the update 34 over weekend. I'm not as far in as I would have hoped, but at the same time it isn't as bad as I make it seem. And as almost always during the last progress post of the update no spoiler so some other stuff...
One of the reasons why most mages are hmm... what's the word?Jealous? That will work. Jealous of Nisha is that she can be actively aid in more tasks than the usual familiars. Satya has a rat, while good for spying fairly useless in combat, same with Riya's butterfly or Uche's bird. Eirlys' spirit dog is one other that is useful in similar ways. Ayaka's dragonling can be useful, but she can't really body block, which can be useful at times. Yeah, my mind go into strange places at times. Especially considering I did this render to test the environment out...
And then this... someone got this stuck in me head... Still it was interesting to make. Not really feasible as is, well not with those clothes and that particular body shape, but if I get different set of nurse clothing I might have some use for her in some other game in the future >.>
