If you dislike voice acting, you can turn down the Sound effects channel. I was having issues with the voice channel in Renpy.
that will turn off all sound effects.
wich will also ruin the game.
voice acting isn't the problem.
bad voice acting is just to mutch of a turn off.
i compleetly agree.
i heard the voice acting from the first scene (not the intro)
i closed and deleted the game.
having sounds is fine, having voice acting is fine.
but the voice acting has to be good at best.
this was just way to terrible, that it is accurate to call it the boner destroyer.
it destroyed mine in less than 1 sec.
good voice acting will keep it.
perfect voice acting will never let it go limp.
if the game didn't have voice acting, i and many others would at least give it a fair try.
to say to remove the voice acting is feedback.
to up the sales/subscribers.
we don't do it out of hate.
we simply don't give the game a chance to show its worth.
so be honest to yourself.
did you have to turn off all sound just to enjoy it?
if yes: than the game is a failer.
with this as feedback, the next project may become a succes.
Haven't tryed, wether it works in this game (but it should): Go to preferences and only reduce the sound of voicelines. ;-)

Thank you for providing feedback for my first project. The music channel includes a couple sound effects integrated in the audio files for atmosphere. So muting sound effects in game will play the game with no voice and some sound effects in place with original music. I'm still learning Renpy, Studio Neo 2, and hope to improve as I continue to develop on a super limited budget.
This project was 100% a learning experience for me and I wanted to share it for free. I'm not running a patreon asking for backing. I'm just a regular dude who enjoys adult games and thought others might enjoy it too. Personally, I enjoy the voice acting done by the actress I selected, but I understand the perspective of those who don't.
