So correct me if I am wrong, but from reading the comments I am lead to understand this about the MC.

Is a classic "Look MC strong and powerful, ALPHA!" but then the story proceeds to ignore that fact and treat him like a bit of an idiot to have character development in areas that said character should already be developed because of their backstory. (i.e. MC makes stupid choices that you have no say in, which contradicts their established intellect/background etc.)

So you end up with a 40something manchild with the mind of a teenager despite having gone through hell and should be more like the harderned I have had a fucked life type protag instead of the I am a horny teenage boy style protag.

I could well be misreading things however this is the idea I have got from skimming the thread comments. So by all means please enlighten me if this is a horribly incorrect assessment.

(am asking cause don't feel like wasting my time on a game where the way it treats MC is inconsistent with the story).

The game itself isn't bad. I actually like the plot. The problem is that all the characters are talking the whole "porn logic" thing and multiply it by a hundred in everything they do!

The MC is pretty much a well trained killing machine (some sort of special ops soldier) who survived war zones and can probably beat most people up with one arm tied behind his back, but if he sees a sideboob he starts drooling worse than a teen who's gonna see a naked woman in person for the first time...

Both his sister and daughter are madly in love with him, but trying to bang every woman they meet in the first chance they get.

There's a housekeeper who starts flirting with him from day one and then after you spend a whole lot of time to get her, she bangs his sister (no choices there) because she thinks that's a good way to get him (the sister installs a camera in her room, sends him a text to check the feed and he jerks off to that like a good cuck) and then turns into a nympho willing to bang the first other guy she meets because he texted her...

His sister was also banging his wife for years behind his back by the way, because he was neglecting her and it's "better her that a stranger"... And it took him like half a day to forgive her after he found out.

Also every woman fall for the sister (who's been going around groping everyone with zero complains, because "reasons") in an instant and "turns" bisexual even if she previously said she's not into women.

I'm about to play the last update now, but apparently we have another love interest who suddenly realised she's bi, because... I don't know, someone groped her and every woman has to be bisexual, so that no one can just be into the MC!

Honestly if you have time to spare, I'd suggest to give it a try and make up your own mind. I haven't played the latest update yet, but in the previous one the sister toned her bullshit down a lot. She still does a lot of annoying shit in the first five updates though, so you should keep that in mind.

There's a scene for instance that still pisses me off. The MC has the option to tell her to stay away from his daughter (after she has already groped her a few times in front of him of course), she agrees, but the same night she sleeps with her completely naked (saying that's how she always sleeps), and at some point when the daughter starts feeling her up (the "madly in love with the MC, but still trying to bang every woman she meets" I mentioned before), she takes a picture and sends it to him saying it's not her fault... And the dev thought that was her being playful and that was just one of her antics! And of course the MC does absolutely nothing about it.

I think it's clear that the dev goes by the "girl on girl is always hot" logic and thinks that all the shit she's been pulling are sexy or something...
At this point I'm mostly interested in the story to be honest, which once again I think is really good. You can avoid most scenes, (by that I mean the sister is still banging the housekeeper for instance, there's no way around that, but then you can reject her) but the problem with that is the way I'm playing so far I'll most likely have only one possible love interest left after I play this update and even that's debatable.

This game actually had so much promise at the start but for some reason I cannot fathom, the dev has decided to increasingly narrow it down to a smaller, select niche. Fine if you know that before the start, but each update just became increasing worse. It`s a great example of how to completely fuck up a main character and leave pretty much all LI`s as shared only options.

If the dev was interested in keeping more of his audience instead of losing it, I think giving the MC some balls instead of making him an utter gimp - special forces my arse, allow at least an actual singular non-sharing option - hint. Fucking Astrid. and the option to tell his sister to shut. the. fuck. up. and let MC dictate who he shares.

Never seen an MC so utterly pussified - is that a word?

Not really how it happens.

He was invited to join in with a 3way with the sister and Julia and the only reason Julia agreed to it was because he was going to be joining in.

Then he bitched out.

She hasn't been going around staling his women, he's done nothing to make them feel wanted. He pushed Julia away, he's constantly turning the daughter down, the only reason he had sex with the Yakuza girl is because they had to pretend to be a serving girl and say she was going to be punished severely if he didn't and even then he was trying to turn her down.

She isn't taking his women, he's doing everything he can to push them away.

Well I only played until the whole Julia-Deb-MC threesome scene so my argument might lack some insight.
But from the content I played I can't agree with this comment. Julia was my main LI so I did everything to persuade her. There are some possibilities to flirt with her and in my opinion you can make it very clear to her that you want her. The main problem is that the choices we make aren't making any difference. There where a few choices where you could put Deb in her place but in the end he is always bowing his head to her and is kissing her feet.
The writing also dosen't make any sense. Again the (first?) threesome scene:
We have Julia who only agrees to said threesome if MC is involved (she is yearning for male warmth). So because of (absolute BS) reasons he isn't participating. So every sane being would think: well sad there will be no Julia action. BUT NO. There is still Debs magic touch to make every female drip for her. (I said this in an former post but just remember that only a few minutes before Julia told Deb that she was raped by her ex and well what is Deb doing? She is putting her fingers in Julias pussy without her consent)

If MC puts up with that he ain't a man lmao, no one with any amount of self-respect would put up with that kind of constant betrayal and backstabbing, especially from family.

This ain't even about realism, it is just about simple character, and basic story. If you gonna shit on MC and he just gonna take it like a bitch with no choice then imma bounce.

But from the reaction and the scenes being described.... seems obvious to me that the dev likely doesn't understand the difference between sharing and stealing. Or this is really just a sister cucking you story without them telling anyone and you find out the hard way. So sister is the real protag of the story and you just play from the perspective of the throwaway side character that gets fucked over and over by the story.

Based on how the main story has completely nose dived and the dev`s obsession with making his supposed "manly" soldier type MC into a cucked, clueless, wimp...I think he`s lost the plot at this point. Nice update, it had been a while since I played so there was a lot of new content, the MC is finally starting to change, and I can't wait to see more of it, my only complaint is making choices for other characters, I really don't like that or seeing things from other characters perspectives, I understand why it was done as Astrid hasn't had enough screen time for the Mc's actions to affect her, but maybe the scenes with her could have waited until she did, like, depending on how the MC acted towards her or said she would have acted another way, maybe just flipping the scene with Milly to play out before the one with Debbie and Astrid's choice coming as a result from what we choose on that scene.

edit: Clarification, in my opinion, the order of the scenes should be, Milly's massage, then sex with Deb watching, and then Astrid talks about having the full threesome, this would feel more "natural" as she would have gotten curious, and then have an actual experience that enhanced that curiosity and then actually seeking for confirmation, still hella fast, but it kinda makes more sense that way.
