Maybe she's the one who's gonna do the mind control if the dreams start to have some kind of influence over him...^^ Like she's somewhat obsessed with the MC (for a reason yet to know) so she visits him every night and makes him more and more malleable each time

Well... Yeah. Mind control is a risky tag if not used properly. It might just end up on the pile of scratched content (or become a non-sexual theme) if I'm not satisfied with the end result. It is not gonna be NTR or Rape though, thats for sure.

Personally, I'm not comfortable with this kind of story (I usually don't feel comfortable with mind control, most of the times if it's something very light and the MC or whoever uses it rarely. I don't like if mind control is used to get someone, the MC or whoever, to have sex with another character).

This whole dark twist is something I suspect I won't enjoy.

So I want to preface this with I have not played this game yet, I have read the OP and the warning made me look through the Genre Tags and Dev Note and it brought me a question.

From going off the OP, I assume bad things happen to the women in this story in a sexual manner.
Now in my opinion: Blackmail = rape. As the women are not consenting.
From reading the last few posts here, I assume one of the women the MC knows gets blackmailed into sex by someone other then the MC and the justification of "because they are not a love interest yet, its not Technically NTR" is used and it seems that the Dev has a hard stance that there will be no NTR.

My question is why is this here then?
If you do not plan on having proper NTR in your game, why include the sex scenes?
The purpose of a sex scene in a porn game is to give you're players something to wank to.
Why would I want to wank to seeing someone I care about (or am going to care about) getting railed by someone other then the ME? Would you watch videos of you're wife fucking multiple other people before you got together? No. (unlss you're into sharing/ntr) That feels like you're trying to generate jealousy/shame in the player, which is the whole purpose of NTR, which this game is supposed to avoid, so why include it?

It just does not seem conducive to a Harem Romance.
If you want to introduce drama you can do so much else, especially with super powers.
If this was an NTR game, I'd understand, write it off and just not play but if you're trying to create a Harem Romance, why include love interests/potential love interests getting raped/blackmailed/railed by other men? Is it REALLY necessary to the story?

If it were avoidable, that'd be something all together different, but as far as I can tell its skippable, not avoidable which is silly to me because if you're just including something bad for character depth, you can easily have a alternative bad thing have happened to the character and just put in a player choice. Its supposed to be an interactive story after all so would it really ruin the character if something else that was awful happened that wasnt the potential love interest getting railed/blackmailed/raped by other people? ESPECIALLY if NTR/jealousy is not supposed to be a theme of the game?

Honestly, the lack of player agency in preventing things like that drive me up a wall. If I wanted to be powerless to prevent bad things happening to the people I love/am going to love, I'd just look at real life. lol

I swear I'm not just trolling, I genuinely want to know because things like this in games confuse the fuck out of me as they can ruin a otherwise amazing story/game.

Like I said, I have not played the game fully yet, so if i'm off the mark on these things being in the game then please ignore and have a wonderful day. I'm just trying to see if i'd like this game or just end up frustrated and angry.

I'm going to take your advice and skip the game. I don't like bad endings and I usually only play these types of games with a tutorial, but if the game is very dark, I prefer not to try.

At first I didn't want even want to play the update because I read about that scene but I still played it and actually have to say the scene is not that bad, because it's a flashback of the girls past so there is a way that the MC could pevent it from happening, but it gives him the motivation to break these assholes.
Now to the ability to skip the scene, it's good that it is possible to not see it but there comes a problem with it, when you not see the scene it feels like the MC has no reason to do something about these guy's. So my idea for not seeing the rape itself but the anger the MC has for them is that you only show the MC's face and him getting angry as he watches the video.

Also I don't think you game was lacking nudity because of the dreams.

I did have something different planned for those who chose to skip that scene, but your idea sounds more plausible. Whether that changes in the future updates or not, MC is still gonna have enough motivation to break those assholes, you can be sure of that!

About the nudity... Well, I can't really say much about that. Hell, I wasn't even satisfied with what I've got so far. I wanted to squeeze more in! I'll try to tone it down a little this time.

Sure, you skirt the technical label based on this sites very narrow definitions but end result is the same.

If you can realize that the scene could be removed later and something else is put in is place, why stick to the controversial choice and alienate potential audience?

I mean, you can have plenty of reasons narratively for an MC to hate a group of men for giving a woman grief or to give a female character a "dark past". Hell I think its mentioned she's a cam girl? Doxxing is a huge threat to sex workers who hide that from their family/friends, you can get across that these men are evil without fucking a potential love interest as a "story point." Hell a few tweaks in dialoged would probably do the trick.

And if you just want more sex in your game without rushing relationships, introduce an easy character then or just have updates without sex? I know, shocking for a porn game, but a lot of games blue ball people with BJ's and handjobs while working up to the main event.

Oh damn, I actually don't want to defent the scene, but as I said in my previous post the scene itself is not that bad, no violence against the girl, and it happend befor the MC was even in the town so it is only a back story. Additionally at this point the MC didn't even had a real conversation with the girl because "she aviods boys like the plague". I also hated the idea behind the scene but after playing it's not that hab and if the Dev decides to implement my idea we don't even have to see it but the anger towards the guys will be there.

I do see your point, and it makes perfect sense. That's the reason why I'm considering removing the scene in the later versions if I can't find a way to make it avoidable. It just has to be this way for now, until I find a solution. While I would prefer it if the scene could stay in, I see how it could piss people off and that's the last thing I wanna do. Just tossing an idea out there, maybe the idea to look it up could come from the dream girl. The MC then gets the choice to look for it or not the following night. Plays into the idea of the devil's temptation while the MC doesn't look like he's eager to watch it.
