Well, this is quiet frequent between devs so it doesn't surprise me. Delivering an update on the exact day is very difficult and there are potential problems behind every corner. Don't worry, we'll wait.

It would be better to not proclaim any solid update dates, as he did for this 0.2 release a month ago.
it would be for the best not giving any promises for next updates coming sooner or so...
The LIFE is always around the corner, watching to kick some nuts, and the game-devs are among its top priorities for the pranks
