Yeah comparing this dev to ICSTOR is crazy, dude only has around 100 subs on patreon while ICSTOR has over 6k.

It could have had a lot more had there been proper update timings and communication on patreon, this game could have become quite successful.

That game isn't listed here, but the gist is the developer, an Aussie known as Westy,

(i.e. Loli's). They are coming down on this guy hard, since it's the first arrest of this kind in Australia. They confiscated just about everything and the kitchensink of this dev. Equipment, furniture, cars, collectibles, you name it. They're even planning on going after those folks who supported the dev financially (for as far as they're within Australian jurisdiction). This scared a couple of devs shitless to the point a few games, involving loli like content, immediately got abandoned. The thing is, as long as they're not in a country where such laws exist like in Australia, they've got not much to worry about.

Any random joe can report it here....that's why so many games sometimes have the premature abandoned tag as people keep reporting abandoned over and over and over and over....
Should wait till an official announcement from the dev since, as they said, no announcement on official channels that he is done.

Yeah communication seems to be one of the biggest issues. I don't know if this has been confirmed but some people say that the dev is from Russia so I don't know if the whole war thing has affected him. But since he seems to be somewhat active on discord it wouldn't really be that hard for him to make some progress updates on patreon.

I actually have reported a game once. But the dev went silent for 8 months already.
The dev is very uncommunicative and has a habit of disappearing without explanation for long periods of time. Officially, he has never justified his disappearances, and the rumors about the Russia war are just baseless speculations. The reality is that he's an inconsistent and unreliable dev. He promises delivery dates that he consistently fails to meet. In the past, he already abandoned the development of a game, and this latest update was released after he had been missing for over a year. Whether he will abandon True Bond or continue to update it (and when he will release a new version) is something only he knows.
